Hey, I live 4 1/2 hours from LSU and I'm there until the lights are being turned off in the stadium. I go back to the car and start up a mini-tailgate while listening to the post-game waiting for the traffic to clear. It aint that hard with a little effort. I wouldn't even think of embarrassing my alma mater by leaving early.

If you've one of those fricking Cheesers with the "It's my money and my ticket and I'll do what I damn well please" attitude and have better things to do with your time after halftime, (Regardless of the image that a half empty stadium in the third quarter looks like on television) or are a weak willed addict that needs an alcohol or nicotine fix so you can function or are one of the impatient and antsy "Gotta beat the Traffic'ers", how about just giving away or selling your tickets to real fans that won't put the University in a bad light like that.

Clearly there is some of this. The entire sideline sections being controlled by the blue hair crowd and by corporate sponsors doesn't help either. The primo seats are handed out to clients of said sponsors who often aren't rabid fans and go just to say they went. The blue hairs, that have had tickets since before Pepsodent Paul was the coach, on the rare occasions they decouple from their oxygen tanks and climb up the steps, leave early because it's too hot, too cold or because their Depends are full.

I'm there 45 minutes before kick off, and I leave after the alma mater is complete

Even stayed for the 21-0 beatdown in the superdome..rammer jammer still haunts me.

1. Stay til the games over
2. Walk with the band back until you tail off to get to your tailgate
3. Eat some chips/Drink some beer for 30 minutes
4. Leave with absolutely no traffic

Did this for the South Carolina and Alabama game this past season, and every season before. If you expect to get out right away, good luck.

I could wade through all 8 pages so I don't know if it's been said yet but the only way to make me stay longer would be to play another football game because, barring any significant emergencies, I stay the entire time.

If your a real fan LSU should not have to do a damn thing to keep people in the stands we call ourselves the best fans in the country but so many get up and carry there arse late in the game these are the same mfers that bitch and complain about players and coaches and prob boo our own players they are not fans they are just riding the bandwagon bitches
