help me understand why you say this.

let me preface this by also saying that i love MIles, always have, but hes already said jordan will play in every game (see the link above) and might even play tomorrow. for whatever reason, miles has chosen jordan to be his qb. even when he went 7 games in a row without topping 100 yards passing and Lee looked excellent in the snaps he got, jordan still started all last year and he was named the starter this year until the fight. now hes been cleared and is back on the team. lee isnt doing anything unexpected, all last year he showed he was capable of doing what hes doing now and it never mattered. so now that jordan is back, and essentially nothing has changed, why wouldnt miles start him again?

I appreciate your thoughts, but I just can not make myself believe LM would make a change at qb assuming things continue to go the way they have through 4 weeks of the season.

I refuse to believe it.
If he does, I might have re-evaluate things.

I think you're misinterpreting what he's saying:

quote:

There will be an opportunity just like a year ago when Lee played in every game (behind Jefferson). There will then be an opportunity that Jordan Jefferson would play in every game as well. I think if he continues to do the things that he's always done that he would get onto the field. I don't think there's any question there."

First thing:

quote:

There will be an opportunity just like a year ago when Lee played in every game (behind Jefferson).

I'm 99% certain this means that JJ might play the role Lee played last year.

Next:

quote:

There will then be an opportunity that Jordan Jefferson would play in every game as well.

An opportunity doesn't = playing every game. Lee had an opportunity to play in every game last year.

EDIT: Lee did see some playing time in 12 games but to be fair, I can't recall him playing in a few games. The UNC game, Ole Miss.... But I do strongly think that JL will solidly remain the starter. JJ could "play" in every game here on out but it could be just one drive. We'll have to wait and see.

Miles is a great coach, i truly believe that, but he has this blind spot with jordan. Lee should take every snap, things are going great, it baffles me that he would make any changes at all but hes already made it clear that he is. im hoping for the best.

Auburn 82.94

He threw 1 pass on the last series against Vandy, that doesn't count.

He threw 1 pass against WVU. SHOULD he have played more that night? Yes, b/c Jefferson was having a horrible game.

UT for sure Lee was better.

Florida is iffy to me, they both played well, although JJ had the turnover.

Lee's numbers were better against McNeese and Aub, but neither QB were worth a damn in those games. Less than 100 yards passing in each.

Wtf so you totally ignore what qb was in for the srives we scoref? Ill give you a hint, majority was JJ. Just cus eff was a lil higher does not mean he out performed him.

A lot of last year debate was drive stalling. Lee scored 2 tds. As purely passing he only out performed him in uf. But JJ rushed for 2 tds and rushed for a 1st on 3rd and 7. We kick a field goal instead of ounting to end the half.

We do not win the game without that play, or lees td to toliver.

JJ might come out looking like VY. That's the only way I see him starting by Bama, barring injury.

Is that the lowest efficiency ever for a starting lsu qb?

He scored the fluke 80 yard td on the first play

Then proceeded to suck the rest of the game.

He took away valuable snaps from lee

And It was absolutely ridiculous that lee drove the team down the field, then JJ gets inserted as qb and loses the game except for 13 players on the field for UT

Why do you think Miles is so incompetent?

Or do you just think he hates his job?

I submit that Miles has never made a switch during the season unless the starter is injured.

Lee is the starter.

by your own logic, that would make jordan the starter.
