The only fault I've ever has with Les really was his mishandling of the QB position last year. He'd best not go down that same road again after the start we've had so far.

You can tell with what Les has said concerning JLee since he named him the starter until today that he is MORE THAN PLEASED with him.
Lee would have to have a mental and physical breakdown to lose the starting spot.
It aint happening.
JJ will eventually get in the game in some situations tht they feel he gives us best opp to score.
I have no idea when or what situatuion that would be or when it will be... but thats it.
This is Lee's team.
JMHO.

im not doing any of those things. as someone just said (though while trying to refute me) miles doesnt replace starters. jordan was the starter. now hes back.

I think Miles made up his mind in 2008 about JJ and JL. Its just a matter time until he finds a way to put JJ back into the starter's role.

He played marginally better
Yes, and that is saying a mouthful. He was playing with the starters and playing better than JJ, in spite of the fact that he was getting 2nd team reps in practice.

dont say that to be negative or anything like that, but the reality is that Miles loves Jordan, hes always started him regardless of how he played or how Lee played, and he was set to be the starter until the fight. theres no reason to think anything has changed.
you couldn't be more wrong. Don't know if you have been watching the games so far this season but a lot has changed. Lee is much improved and the play calling/offensive game plans are like night and day compared to last season.

This is such crap. All due respect for being in the armed forces but if Lee doesn't get hurt in the Ole Miss game, JJ doesn't see the field.
Why are we still hung up on 3 years ago?

Miles has already said Jordan will play in every game. starting or not, thats completely changing the gameplan.
Link?

This.
I'm not hating on the kid but JJ showed marginal improvement at best since '09.

guess we will find out tommorrow who lines up under center to start tommorrow. By your logic it should be Jefferson. Mastershake may be baked.

he showed a lot of improvement towards the end of last season. You forget perhaps that he had beaten out Lee in spring and fall camps once again and would have been starting and perhaps shining under a new OC had it not been for this bar fight incident.

If we're rolling like we are now and Les starts JJ for any reason I'll lose my shite.
Can't wait just to see all the rantards lose their shite.
We'll be good no matter who starts. Our running game is beastly and we rely on our defense anyway. 4-0 no matter who starts, lee, Mett or jj.

We were 11-2 last season, NR at #8, and won the Cotton Bowl in a blow out.
Since 2010 we are 15-2, no team the SEC has a better record in the time period, and we are currently #1 in the nation..."mishandling of the QB position" is going off the deep end a tad. imo

Conclusion of the matter: this is all about.what have u done for me lately... Lee lead team to #1 rating...jj didn't...if staff doesn't have faith in lee, not desiring to watch another game b/c this year I've finally gotten over my weekly heart attacks...and the stress level is down so for the health and sanity of the majority of tiger nation...keep lee!

I submit that Miles has never made a switch during the season unless the starter is injured.
by your own logic, that would make jordan the starter.

I'm not hating on you, boxcar, I generally agree with your posts. However, the bold face words are important.
Last year. From '08 to present day, that's when he improved. Again, I want to reiterate I don't hate JJ, I never have. He just hasn't progressed as a QB in college should. Most of that is Crowton's fault however JJ will get the brunt of the bs. I've backed that kid from the start. Even when all this stuff happened.
He did something wrong, messed up and now there are consequences for that. I've messed up and had to deal with the consequences.
I have not forgotten anything. You can say the "well he did this and did that and had that not happened..... this would've happened."
Well that's not the case. This is what's going on now. Personally, I wish all this conjecture would just stop and we can actually celebrate where we are instead of "he did this vs. he did that in this year and all that bs."
