AND....Les should stay true to form....and stick with him all season no matter what. He did with AJ (sans AU game).

I'd rather stick with a bad Brandon Harris than a bad Anthony Jennings...if for no other reason, Brandon at least has the tools/potential to get hot and drag the team down the field to a score. I've lost confidence that AJ can do this with any regularity.

Every team's favorite player is the backup qb. If LSU plays a 2 qb system, that means they don't have 1 . Ask Spurrier about that when he coached at Florida.

I'm glad he's not eligible this year or there would be 10 Etling threads a day when Harris has a bad game.

Matt Flynn sr year he had a terrible game and everyone was calling for his head. He won us the nc later that year. That's the day I stopped taking tiger fans serious. If miles would have listened Flynn would have been on the bench in the nc game. Especially after rp had a good showing in the seccg

Lol, I have gone on record many times saying I think BH is the better player and should start.

This thread is about posters like you who will call for his head at the first sign of trouble. Feel free to prove me wrong.

Completely pointless thread & just another example of the ridiculous negativity throughout our fan base.

Exactly

The Rant saw him throw one good pass in the spring game and based upon that performance alone is thoroughly convinced that he has all the skill necessary to be a great SEC QB.

Of course Lee was the next great LSU QB after the AU game in '08. That is until LSU found it's "savior" at QB in Jefferson during the Peach Bowl later that year. The loss of Mettenberger following the '13 season was tough, but The Rant knew they had a "star in the making" after Jennings' performance against Ark. That star burned out quickly though. But Harris, HARRIS! was going to lead LSU into Auburn and "shock everyone." That is until he looked like Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughan in Jordan-Hare. But alas, Jennings never regained his glory. So Harris gets another turn at being the best to ever wear the P&G going into this season. Well....until the fanbase turns on him and McMillian gets to bask in the glory of being the "next great LSU", at least until Franks gets on campus anyway

have your fun fellas. when the season starts, I predict the magic will wear off of the romance. this is LSU. I have known our fans for many years and we don't change. the minute BH struggles or throws him some picks the Tiger faithful will start calling for the backup. ps: I hope it doesn't happen.

Calling for Jennings?.....Won't happen (not the people calling for Harris at least)

Saying Franks can't get here soon enough..........definite possibility

I don't know why people are down voting you because that's exactly what's going to happen. Rantards turn on players with a quickness.
