Unban all songs. Every time there is an incident, take away 200 seats (temporarily). If two games with no incident add back the seats. Adjust as needed.

Students who think that they are "sticking it to the man" are ignorant. It's not just the cursing, it's that TGBFTL represents the entire University, and the University can not be seen as "encouraging" the vulgar chants. Nobody has ever banned a "bull shite" chant because the University is not encouraging the chant. Playing a song that illicits a vulgar chant is encouraging that behavior.

Away from the student section I cant understand what they are chanting anyway. I miss the band though, and HATE the piped in B.S. Morals have been slowly eroding to the point we cant even have a band now, they just don't get it.

It has nothing to do with the songs being played. The students just want to say STTDB.
As all the students exited the stadium, someone would go OOOOOOOooooooo, then everyone would say STTDB. There was no music playing. So what now, ban leaving the stadium? That would probally solve two problems.

The athletic department has the responsibility to protect the University's image and standing in the community. LSU's image does not belong to the current students. It belongs to all of us who have attended and graduated from LSU. LSU belongs to the Alumni, not the current students. Once the students graduate, then LSU belongs to them as well.
IT is a PRIVILEGE to attend LSU as a student and student athlete.
Ban the whole damn student section for the FURMAN game and if they don't clean up their act, ban them until the issue is so much the focus on campus that people have to have a serious discussion on what is and what isn't allowed.
I can't take my kids to the games. Why is it fair to my family, who have had three generations go to LSU to suffer so some miscreants who really don't give a damn about LSU can yell pornographic epithets?
This has to stop and stop completely. If you want to behave like a child, the you should be treated like a child.
BAN THEM, till they act like adults that understand that attending LSU is a privilege and not a right. Pornography does not belong on campus or at the games.
