They banned Oweo in 2007. STTDB didn't start until at least 2009, maybe later.

They brought oweo back in 2010 and then banned it again during that season. The next game, STTDB started as a protest

Just play the songs you want. They are not yelling profanities based on the song.....they are just going to yell them regardless of what you play. We are breaking some traditions, new and old, with the songs getting banned.

I've always thought the answer was pretty simple.
Do a PSA with a current, respected football player saying how much the band and crowd pump them up. He then asks the crowd to support the team and the band by refraining from using profanities during the songs.
That puts the students in an awkward spot of supporting the team or being selfish and self indulgent. Not sure how it would turn out but worth a shot.

The time has come to address the problem. The problem is immature students. Since they cannot conduct themselves as adults, it's time to take away some privileges.
Adult supervision is in order.
