All I'm saying is that fans yelling at an opposing team is not a strictly SEC phenomenon.
Blasphemy.

It isn't an insult and noise is not a factor as much now as it was in the past. Spread offenses don't need verbal communication. Most audibles aren't "audible". Line communication is the biggest factor.

Oh i got you. I also hear its a great experience up there and thats coming from LSU fans. Which is a great compliment.

Truth is the stadium will be half empty by early third quarter, with half hearted fans whining about traffic.
It will be loud, but not like the good ole days...

This is what scares me since we already have injury issues there after week one. A new guy clocking in in this environment you pretty much have to expect a penalty or two on him.

It may cause a few problems early but coaching staffs prepare for noise so much I think most teams handle noise well.
I honestly think the noise is more beneficial in pumping up the home teams defense than hurting the visiting teams offense.

Autzen is freaking loud my man. They are intense and that stadium is set in a way that makes it extremely loud. I would put it behind LSU, UF, and Bama, but it is right behind.

The UW stadium is definitely loud. It's a different kind of loud though. When they do the GOOOOO.....HUSKIES chant back and forth, it's freakin loud for sure. But at TS, it's just a roar that doesn't go away.

This should get a sticky. I hope the crowd destroys UW.

Always found the UDub fan base kinda milk toast. However, Huskey Stadium has surprised at how loud it can get.
This ain't even gonna be a night game.

The noise will not bother them more than the 90% humidity

I promise to come back next week and discuss. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys bring it.

And "Jordan Hair"? Really? Winning helps everything but I've never heard of it being a particularly loud joint. Do they attach noisemakers to their pom-poms now?

Sadly UW won't get a full throttled Tiger Stadium.

You will be disappointed (despite what some homers will say).
Unfortunately, the fans don't much get up for our games unless the Tigers are playing a national contender or SEC rival. I mean kickoff might have a nice sound and if your team drives on us in the first few series then you'll hear some noise, but really it's not impressive for OOC games against teams we're supposed to walk over.
Now come back for Alabama (or South Carolina), and you'll be able to experience the real deal. Otherwise, you're probably SOL.

I saw undefeated LSU and undefeated AU in Jordan Hare two years ago. Big time national championship implications. It was not loud except when there was a big play. It was about like LSU against N Texas crowd, very lame!

With this being a non-conference game, I don't think it will be as crazy as it could be for an SEC night game..but the fact that it's still a night game and on ESPN makes me think Death Valley will be rockin saturday

Why does the endzone at Washington where they put the visitors have the seats starting 50 yards away? I was on the 10th row and could not see anything. Way to far away and no viewing angle. Then trying to watch the game on that sad excuse for a jumbo tron through two sets of goal posts really ticket me off.
I had a great game day experience in '09 until I got in my seats.

when tiger stadium gets a-rockin, it definitely gets loud. It doesn't always affect the opposition, but i definitely remember WVU fans talking down on Tiger Stadium before this game:
