Very interested in hearing the Miles-bashers' answers about the future

We do know the following about Les Miles' coaching tenure at LSU:
- LSU wins more games per year under Les Miles than under any of his full-time predecessors.
- LSU loses fewer games per year under Les Miles than under any of his full-time predecessors.
- LSU has a higher winning percentage under Les Miles than under any of his full-time predecessors.
Therefore, if you do not like the fact that Miles is LSU's coach, it would be unrealistic and unreasonable to cite "he loses too many games" as one of your reasons. The fact is that you can't cite his coaching win/loss record as a reason why you don't like him as coach. Regardless of your preference or taste as far as his coaching style is concerned, the results simply do not support your opinions (like they do mine, for example). Which leads me to my question:
When, if ever, will Les Miles' win/loss record at LSU reflect your negative opinions about his coaching ability?
You've been waiting nine+ years for this to manifest itself. When's it gonna happen?
ETA: Made the possessive in the headline plural.

I like Miles...I also like to be entertained, while winning games.

It's more a question of human psychology than an honest mathematical and historical appraisal of the Mile era. And he lost these people on style-points years ago and he'll never get them back.

They won't really have a answer, just call you names, pumper, same ole bs.
but to answer your question, even though I don't fit the title, is three seasons. If lsu falters badly

quote:You're very right, and I spent plenty of time on the psychological aspect of the Miles-bashers' collective disorder this morning. I just felt that I owed them a chance to tell us what the rest of us don't know, to tell us when the results are going to reflect his lack of coaching ability. Even they deserve the chance to speak their minds regarding this. Not a single one has answered the question, though. I cannot begin to tell you how shocked and stunned I am.

If LSU goes 8-5 this season and the next two, Les Miles will still have a better winning percentage at LSU than Saban and Arnsparger. A fourth such season, and he drops.
If he averages four losses per year, he will drop out of first all time at LSU in 2021.

Well we all see how well that coaching change has worked out for UT. They have been wandering the coaching wasteland trying to be relevant for years now.

Keep throwing insults buddy. I'm proud of what I did instead of attend LSU. I've always been and always will be an LSU fan. How you can't see that this team has gotten worse the past few seasons is beyond me Enjoy mediocrity.

Well get ready for a 6-6 season.

There's also been a weird strain of self-loathing in the Louisiana collective (put that word in especially for you) psychology. When I was a kid there were these hater-types that were all in with Notre Dame. These same people throw in with the Gumps now. They idealize "the other" and detest themselves. It's actually a very "Lefty" psychological perspective, but I digress, pre-fist-fight, so as not to go all PT Board on you. In the LSU case, I think it's based in fear. LSU fans can be fearful types. They fear loss of status.

And how many of his predecessors were handed the talent and set up that he was from the get go again? In 10 years he has as many SEC titles as Saban had in 4 years after REBUILDING LSU.
People need to stop slobbering over win/loss records when the guy has underachieved when it comes to winning anything of meaning. People hated Mac for the fact he couldn't bring home hardware enough, yet Les gets a pass.
With his own system and players in place, Les has 1 SEC title.
