I know of 7-10 other tickets not being renewed as well. These have been held for 15-17 years. It seems; The aggravation to attend + TAF fees+ only a few good games a year has exceeded the enjoyment factor of being "in the stadium". The TV is a superior, more convenient delivery mechanism for many now.

Sad but true.

Then if I dare try to sell my tickets, my fellow tiger fans will call me "greedy" for wanting to get some of the TAF fees back.

It really is a no win situation.

I actually really liked the way Les worded his answer.

Ive never seen so many people in the concourses during a game.

concession lines were a mile long and then a lot of people were just sitting in the concourse on their phone.

I like to read more than post, but I think this sums it up. More people are concerned with texting everyone they know and reading Facebook than with what is happening on the field. You are at a football game to....WATCH FOOTBALL! Put down the cell phone for a few hours!

True. But to be honest, I was even bored at home. Between the time consuming game plan and the fact that ANY time there would be some sort of momentum or a big play, it'd be at a point where CBS takes one of their 100 5 minute commercial breaks. So that kills the pace of the game as well.
TV games have always had this drawback. I recall attending games in the 80's and the 3-4 tv games per year (e.g., Ohio State in 1987) were painful because of the long commercial breaks. But, did they make the game boring? No.

I'm not saying that the fans suck or are worse than ever, but with this Florid game....it was just boring as shite and a lot of variables made it that way.
I was at the game with my son. It was hot. HOT. On the East side. At least until we had cloud cover in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

But, boring? Why, because our much maligned defense was finally clamping down on a big-time opponent? THIS IS FLORIDA-LSU, people!

I thought the hammer-nail win was thoroughly enjoyable to see in person. We and some folks around us continued to cheer loudly, and we were the exception, sadly. I take personal responsibility for causing that #70 Gator's two false starts in the 4th quarter. You're welcome!

This game was far from boring.

God damn, is it really only about Bama now?

The LSU Defense had me so fired up and so proud, I wanted to run through a wall...

All SEC games are HUGE games and somewhere along the way this reality has been altered.

I must have spoken with at least 7 groups of people (each holding a varying # of tickets) who informed me that they were going to stay at the tailgate to watch the game because it was too hot.

I agree with Les, if you have medical issues (and I saw two people carted out near me in the Northeast corner lower bowl), then stay in the AC.

Beyond that, ....FRRR1CK I hate the pansyness our fanbase has become.

A guy by us hauls a custom made $18K tailgating trailer from Alabama every home game and he and his entire group stayed under his tent to watch the game because it was too hot. Must have been at least 10 people.

I only wrote that because I knew your eyes would bleed.

Chill. I only posted that for Freak because his original call out wasn't necessary.

Everyone should turn it down a notch. It was a great win over a quality SEC team.

It wasn't boring, it was a game that, while easily in hand, was also easily one broken play away from being way too close.

Those aren't boring games in one respect but they are when you reflect on them after the fact and realize the win was in hand all the time.

Usually, I can almost feel the ground shaking through my TV when I watch LSU play.

Last Saturday? Even my wife thought something was off. She said, "Why aren't they loud?"

Especially in a semi-close game like that. The shitty atmosphere came through the tv.

I think the fans are bored because we've been too good for too long.

Louisianans enjoy being the underdog more than being the top dog.
