What I don't get is where we're the tickets? Saw nothing on marketplace. If people were going to treat this like Troy st then why we're the only avail tickets for sale going for 100 each?

And explain the lack of interest in night games this year.

It doesn't feel electrifying. I guess people are waiting on the Texas A&M game
Funny, that's almost exactly how I feel about Anthony Johnson's play this year!

Johnson has lost control

I was there and gave it all I had. Sorry that wasn't exciting enough for him

I stayed to the end and yelled my butt off.

Does the fact that lower bowl tickets were selling for below face value not indicate a lack of enthusiasm?

This site has ruined LSU fans.
I had to blame it on something

If they would cut out the commercials and piped in music I would go

I will gladly accept tickets from fans not wanting to go and fill the seats :-)

It's generally a lot easier to get tickets than the poor mouthers will have you believe. Listed below are the teams that have won the SEC championship over the last 50 years who have tickets and fees that are cheaper than LSU's:

He's wrong on one thing: The "fans" will have an excuse for not showing up for A&M too.
BUT IT'S JUST TOO COLD TO BE SITTING ON METAL BLEACHERS FOR 4 HOURS AT NIGHT IN LATE NOVEMBER!!

Glad for this, in my section we yelled also. But face it, this was a boring game by nature of the philosophy going in; UF is a boring team the last few years and we went back to our boring game plan to match them. CLM wanted to run offense to turn tables on them from last year and succeeded. Combine that with the 2:30 very warm afternoon and CBS with 4 min. commercial breaks and some gate fiascos some are saying and the empty seats = not electric atmosphere for the most part except near the end!
Please don't even try to compare the circumstance from 03 UGA or 10 Bama etc. Apples vs Oranges
Bring on the Aggies!

they said the crowd was very lethargic.
They and freak aren't even really calling anyone out, just making the same observation as everyone else. I tried to be as loud as possible but honestly the game never felt urgent. There were a couple moments where the noise level went up after a sack or nice pass, but this was old man football with a decent lead at all times. Really felt like we were waiting for the fireworks we've been spoiled with all season and they never came. A few big plays or lead changes and I think the crowd would have gotten a little more fired up like SCAR and Bama last year. Not saying it's wrong or right just why.

We can excuse make for Florida (and the half empty endzone), but that does not explain auburn..... Never mind the others. We are spoiled brats as fans..... When there is more energy in Dallas then Tiger Stadium.... That bothers me.

I was literally the only person screaming in my section for a couple of series, but eventually more people woke up (coincidentally in the second half when it cooled down) But i would like freak to know that Nico screamed on every defensive play of the game.
And for the record, my section is in the sun the whole time, but i couldnt let the heat affect my attitudefor one of our only big games of the year . I can handle the Sun because BISH I FROM LOUWEEZYANA

One of the best ever was a day game vs. Georgia in '03.
It was - it was also one of the very few great day game atmospheres. We've had some good ones, but not many great ones.

Should have posted in this thread, instead... it's 12:45pm last Saturday. Kickoff is at 2:40pm or so... Traffic is backed up on Burbank all the way to Ben Hur Road... and it's crawling at a snail's pace.
I'm driving, we finally reach W. Lee and my nephew suggests we park there at the Winn Dixie... that it would be faster to walk than to sit in that mess. Instead, I proceed a little further, but it's not getting any better, so I hop the curb, double back, and park on the shoulder at the corner of Burbank and Lee, southbound. From there it's about what... a two mile walk? A Florida family parks behind me... "is this normal?", they ask. I tell them I usually arrive earlier to do some walking around campus, so I wouldn't really know... but it did seem extreme.
So, we walk 35 to 40 minutes to the gates on the west side, because our seats are in the SEZ and there were no gates open there due to construction.
And then came the infamous West Gate incident.
Is it any wonder that people are choosing to stay home when you can't even get near the stadium two hours before game time? And then when you DO reach the stadium after a long walk you're made to wait 45 minutes in a mob in the blazing sun?
