That's the point. The poster I was responding to insinuated Dupre played bad because Harris was his friend and he got benched. I'm saying Guice and Adams and almost everyone else on that team are also great friends with Harris and they didn't play bad. It's about rhythm and consistency. Dupre isn't used to Etling yet. He's been playing with Harris for almost 3 years now. To say a kid is trash because of two games is idiotic. Especially when NFL scouts who literally break down kids abilities for a living say that Dupre is a future high round pick.

Dupre has been the most vocal about supporting his boy. Guice and LF7 are intelligent and understand how this works. They are also RBs and if they put the ball on the ground, they get punished... Adams is a defensive guy so not sure how that plays into the offensive productions, primarily the drops.

The only one insinuating things is you by calling me a psychologist. I look at trends vs outcome.

Dupre went full biotch mode when his room mate got canned. Dude plays exactly like Brandon Coleman.

You're reaching and it's pretty weak.
Dupre didn't change once the switch was made. He has played soft in every game at LSU. He doesn't care who's throwing the ball. If there's a defender around, he gets alligator arms.

Dupre is soft and looks like he's afraid of any/all contact atm. I'm not sure if it's some injury he's nursing, although it doesn't appear to be, or he's having issues mentally atm.

Wtf does this mean? Youre trying to compare Dupre to OBJ. Wth does fournette have to do with it?

I guess I should post every quote I'm responding to in the post because you tards don't read anything but the poster I was responding to said the Dupre and Beckham situations weren't comparable because Odell was "only in his second year". However Odell still wasn't an inexperienced receiver and we've seen other True Sophomores come in and do just fine so that's not a viable excuse.

Really? Thats the excuse you are going with? Then what was Dupre's problem against Wisky? What happened in the first quarter. Do not blame his faults on the change at qb. The talent level he was recruited at negates any bullshite excuse of "not used to (insert qb)". You are reaching now.

I've seen nearly every reliable LSU player on offense and defense say they were rolling with Harris as their QB on social media and in actual interviews. And what you said was Dupre played bad because Harris was out and they are friends. Regardless of position that same statement should be true across the board for LSU players since they're all friends with Harris but it wasn't.

Dupre will continue to start because he's a preseason all SEC WR. He's got the name recognition even though he isn't even an average receiver.

If he leaves to go early to the NFL he will be eaten alive

As someone who has watched Chi since high school, I can assure you he is special. Chi made the best of limited opportunities in a run first offense in high school as well. Chi's issues have nothing to do with who is playing QB. Last week the DB coach for Wisky was not concerned about the height disparity between his DBs and Chi and Dural. Accoriding to Wisky's DB coach, LSU's wide outs don't play as big as they are...So, before the season started, this is what is floated out there from a scouting perspective....Chi needs to continue to work on his craft, battle for balls like Juice and maximize his very special gifts that we have all witnessed over the last two years...He will be fine

It is my opinion that the freshmen are stepping up and Dupree will be fighting for playing time by mid season.

This is just stupid! Last week Dupre was dropping Harris' passes.

You say these things, and yet his play has been like this for a while. So much so that other teams' coaches are making public statements about how he doesn't concern them.

Perhaps you're wrong.

I have no ideal how some of these people are seeing that Dupre is playing soft or shutting it down for Harris?? lol What are they looking at?? Everytime Harris has tried to force a pass into him he's been double covered and the passes have been terrible, not close to being on target. I mean what do y'all want him to do?? Turn into Mr Fantastic?? lol

and when Etling came in he finally did things that Harris is not doing. Planting his feet when throwing so that passes don't sail on him and going through his progressions to find the open receiver. Harris has regressed to me because he is doing none of that. He forces passes into the primary target instead of looking him off immediately and going through progressions to find the open man. And should be taking off and running using his ability to run when it is there something Etling did on a TD run. Just simple fundamental stuff.

Etling didn't go to Dupre because he wasn't open, simple. He went to the open man going through progressions. That open man being Smith and whoever else he threw to.

He needs to feel the bench for a while, he WON"T be an sec 1st team no shot, If he continues on this path he's not gonna be that high draft pic he thinks he's gonna be, I'm not impressed by him at all.

He has a total of 24 yards through two games, so he hasn't been giving any special effort for his roommate either. He dropped three passes against Wisconsin and Etling didn't even see the field in that one.

False, Dural had made more comments to the media supporting Harris than anyone. Don't let that get into the way of a silly false narrative, though.

Dupre looks bad with Harris in the game, then continued looking bad when Etling came in. Not sure why you fools need to make up some controversy.

They need to put him in front of a jugs machine aimed high, aimed low, and make him catch 10 straight before the next set.

I think we're seeing that the John Curtis offense just doesn't prepare receivers for the next level. Malachi has all the measurables of a stud, but he never learned the receiver part, only the wide.

Nobody expects him to catch everything, but he should have made plays on some of those balls. If you get both hands on the ball, it's catchable.

It's Chi's job to get open, simple.

I may prove to be wrong by season's end. We have had talented players in the past, go into slumps. I am confident he will pull out of it.
