re: Lindsey Scott Jr transferring - PhillyFan1994
And been in debt up to his eyeballs. Harvard doesn't award athletic scholarship money do they?  A $200,000 communications degree
Who said he had to major in communications? Plus having a Harvard degree obviously opens doors that a degree from an average state school wouldn't....
If the kid is smart and he will go to Harvard. At some point, you have to realize that you won't make a career out of football. re: Will Wade cannot be stopped, LSU in Final Four for this local recruit - PhillyFan1994
FWIW someone posted on 247 (not sonny or shea) that Georgetown is the team to beat right now. Has an assistant coach on his high school team who went to georgetown and is pushing him there. I too thought we led for LeBlanc before reading that.  Robert Kirby is at Georgetown too.
...

re: Tremont Waters Summer Workout Update - PhillyFan1994
Reminds me of Sebastian Telfair coming out of high school.
He's more athletic and a better shooter than Sebastian was in HS. Also more of a true playmaker. I would compare him more to a guy like Phil Pressey or even Tyler Ulis. Also Watees has a much more level head than Telfair di...

re: Cullota tweet that Robinson will sign with LSU today - PhillyFan1994
He would start next to Azubuike to have a lineup of Graham, Newman, Svi, Robinson, Azubuike. And Robinson would be a major focal point on any team, regardless of who is there
Kansas like a lot of Div 1 teams likes to have a guy who can stretch the floor at the 4 spot. I can see ...

re: Cullota tweet that Robinson will sign with LSU today - PhillyFan1994
There aren't many Louisiana hoopers talented enough to garner a KU offer. Nonetheless I think LSU still has as good a chance as Kansas at landing Mitchell. The situation is basically this: Go to Kansas and possibly start over Udoka Azubuike but be second fiddle to Malik Newman and Devonte Graham or ...
Who gives a shite if Alabama is on the list? What difference does that make for us? What is is with some people who have to make everything about Alabama?
I'm not making everything about them I just said I think they should be on the list too.
You missed the point of the list. The number of national championships used to qualify for the list was not just football, it was all sports, male and female. The Forbes list is about being diverse, and offering a chance to succeed academically while competing in multiple sports that encompas...
Maybe Forbes is using the most important metric, they are money people by the way.
I understand Forbes is a magazine primarily concerned with financial matters and which schools produce the highest salaries is certainly a factor to consider but that is not the only metric of impor...

re: LSU in top 25 nationally combining athletics and academics per Forbes - PhillyFan1994
I understand but Alabama football has been almost incomparably dominant compared to any other Big 3 program in a way that I feel makes it of higher importance to this list. And they have other sports programs that have been nationally relevant as well. They have the second most SEC baseball champion...

re: LSU in top 25 nationally combining athletics and academics per Forbes - PhillyFan1994
I meant specific academic programs, not athletic. I was sure someone would say "LSU has a better XYZ program than Alabama" to call into question whether or not they are truly deserving of a higher ranking academically....

re: LSU in top 25 nationally combining athletics and academics per Forbes - PhillyFan1994
i guess I will go ahead and supply the unpopular opinion that Alabama should be on the list. They are almost always ranked higher than LSU academically (Please don't mention specific programs LSU is better at. Alabama is ranked higher as a whole). Also, Alabama's football team is probably the most d...

I'm a Tulane alum and I heard he signed with the Saints this past summer. Is he at training camp? How has he done? I know he isn't likely to make the 53 but does he have a chance at the practice squad?...
