Look, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm saying it may not be a "slump" when other teams' coaches are basing their gameplan off of the way he plays. Maybe it's the way he plays.

Since I heard those comments in the Wisky game, I have watched Dupre. Dural didn't get any balls to critique. He is high pointing the ball, but not attacking and securing like we have seen from premier taller receivers. I've got to think he will kick himself in the rear and fix his shortcomings. I am sure as the OC/DC gameplan against each other, Aranda is sharing the same thing. Heck, Chi is going against White and Toliver in practice, so he battles some of the best corners in the nation everyday

What is a receiver supposed to say about the starting quarterback. Of course he supports Harris. Harris was the starter. I would think that is the quickest way to lose your starting position to criticize the leader of the team.

Beckham went after the ball. He had drops but he wanted to make plays. Dupree doesn't know how to be aggressive. He wasn't a true receiver when we brought him in and maybe he won't be. I'd rather see more Chark and other guys who have shown ability to make plays when given the chance. We have too many guys to keep playing the ones who aren't getting it done.

Beckham got bashed for fumbling a punt against Georgia and fumbling against Florida, in what was a great play by the safety Elam. Also, there was a fierce and unnecessary rant competition between Beckham and Landry although they were completely different receivers.

Dupre might be on Jerell Myers' level...maybe......certainly not near Reed, Clayton, Beckham, Landry, Bowe, Lafell, Wendell or Buster Davis. He's got a long way to go to even be a consistent part of our offense. He still looks like a raw high school football player.

That's the point. The poster I was responding to insinuated Dupre played bad because Harris was his friend and he got benched. I'm saying Guice and Adams and almost everyone else on that team are also great friends with Harris and they didn't play bad.

Exactly!

Dupre isn't used to Etling yet.

What? You have to be used to a QB to catch balls that hit you right in the hands?

Dupre needs to spend less time thinking about NFL $$$ and stardom & more time thinking about his current job.

Dupre is a junior playing like a freshman. I still think he can have success here but the light needs to come on quick

Really? Explain the drops week 1 then. I see a struggling wide out. No way he's doing this on purpose.

Tyron Johnson would've caught both of those balls last night. Really wish he hadn't transferred.

So LSU fans should go and catch for him? He is useful for lSU if he does well now not in NFL.

Dupre went full biotch mode when his room mate got canned. Dude plays exactly like Brandon Coleman

Ok we have to stop with this bullshite.

Dupre played like shite against Wisconsin too and even seemed to get lazy at the end of last year too.

He just isn't that good and it has nothing to do with him bitching about Harris being benched.

Seriously this shite needs to stop.

HMMMM oddly enough ONLY ONE PERSON YOU LISTED PLAYED LIKE shite

That same person played like shite LAST WEEK WITH BH AT QB!!!!!!!

Dupree dropping balls had absolutely NOTHING to do with him being mad about the QB change.

Dupre came across as shutting it down for his home boy Harris. Notice the other receivers like DeSean Smith and DJ Chark stepped it up.

No, stop right there. Dupre struggled last week as well with his "boy" (as you stated) Harris playing. His struggles are something else entirely. Possibly, it's the pressure of expecting to put up good numbers and make plays this season so he can go to the NFL. Whatever it is, he needs to relax and just play ball or he'll be trying to improve his stock next season.

Chark and Smith just want to play and that's what is driving them. Dupre is trying too hard to be more than himself. He needs to get back to that and realize that's what got him where he is in the first place. Of course, it could be some "off-the-field" stuff that we're unaware of. However, he, too, will be on thin ice of getting replaced by a more productive player if he doesn't fix it.

Downvote #100.

He's dropping passes. Sorry we don't like it when he drops passes. I'm sure he'll be fine but let's call a spade a spade. He's had a bad 2 games. Doesn't mean we hate him. Chill. Yet another poster who thinks their bitching about other posters makes them one of the "good" fans.

Thank you for this. Dupre was playing poorly with Harris in last week. Remember most of you were posting about this? Now people want to say "oh he's playing poorly because Harris was pulled". Give me a break. Coaches will have to review his play just like they've done with Harris and so forth. He's talented but isn't playing up to snuff right now and needs to improve or next man up. But to come up with conspiracy theories to why Dupree was playing off this game when he did the same thing last game is bullshite.

I've never seen a WR have the problems Dupree is having. Not to this extent.
