FWIW: He fielded a pretty good team up there.

Amaker is interesting

Anyone who played and coached under Coach K is worthy of an interview

LSU basketball fans are delusional on who they think their coach will be.

What kind of chance would people give Dale Brown these days? What did his resume look like?

Why are you people taking what the Times - Picayune is reporting as fact?

Its all smoke and mirrors right now.

Yeah, I don't want Jones.

I'd be ok with Theus. He's moving up my list of realistic candidates. But I'd still want us to at least go after and be turned down by some bigger names first.

I don't know that much about Amaker, but underwhelmed by what I do know.

Admin edited it, not me. However, the Times-Pic did confirm Dixon and updated the story.

Agree 100%. That guy could not even hit the backboard on shooting a free throw in college and barely shot 50% at the FT line. Sure has not dominated anyone by coaching N. Texas. Please not him. Sorry Dale & Trent but we don't want to continue to sink like an anchor.

Looking shittier and shittier. I'm not buying the Dixon stuff, but hey maybe Alleva has a rabbit up his a-hole.

I guess I'll start convincing myself Johnny jones is a good hire

I think Johnny Jones would surprise a lot of folks. Remember he is the one who brought in Shaq, Chris Jackson, and Randy Livingston. Back in those days the PMAC was rockin'. Nothing spectacular, but he has done a DECENT job at UNT. Took them to a few NCAA tournaments. Imagine what he could do here as he is an excellent recruiter. It would be a heartwarming story as he would be able to redeem himself. Allegations were never proven against him and Dale. After 15 years, the sanctions thing should finally have blown over. He has not been in any trouble since leaving LSU. He would definitely be on MY top 5 list of possible coaching candidates.

why hasn't johnny got any sniffs from bigger programs during his entire UNT tenure?
