who cares? if he does, that means lsu has had success under him. we have to have some success first.
would you not have hired saban if you knew he would jump to the dolphins in five years?
get the guy who can get the program jump started, deal with a replacement then.

That's all I'm saying. If you know you're going to get 5 years, sure. If it winds up being 2, it probably wasn't a great hire.

He could do that in the summer but that would hurt our recruiting because he would miss out on ABCD camps and AAU games

I'd be willing to risk it for a guy who is a known entity, but I dunno about Theus.
I'd be lukewarm about hiring him. But I do think he has the type of personality that could play well in college and excite the fanbase, except for Elleshoe.
