Tim Tebow just spoke the TRUTH about us and we all agree with this!

" If Brandon harris can play good they are National Champions. You have 2 receivers that can catch any ball thrown their way, you have by far the 2 best running backs in the country, and there is so much depth on defense."
We've been saying this for a while. This is gonna be a #SavageSzn :geauxtigers:

And if we get improved defensive interior play. BH is not the reason we lost three last year.

Not necessarily. Our offensive line is going to have to stay strong and healthy through November.

play good, Brandon. play good.

Need to have better defense also, which I think will happen. Brandon Harris needs to be solid or above meaning limit T.O. and help move chains when needed. OL must be better in pass blocking and ST especially punting location and coverage must get better. If those things happen LSU should be in the playoffs come Nov.

Agreed.
But this is also the reason why there is no wiggle room for Miles to retain his job. You've got the best player in the country in Fournette, many say Harris has one of the better arms in the country, McShay just put both our receivers on his top ten WR for the draft, an elite defensive coordinator hire, a ton of returning starters and 5 star talent. Miles should feel confident in one sense but know that even 2 regular season losses (especially if they are blowouts like last year) and he may be done. Especially if it puts us out of SEC Championship contention.

I agree whole heartily.

That's not exactly what he said, if you're going to use quotation marks and give Tebow the credit, don't put your own spin on it

true that, it was the Defense...BH saved us in UF game (muffed punt, punt return awful special teams)...BH cost us no games...zero

Its not rocket science....get better Offense play, less 3 and outs, keep our D off the field and getting totally gassed in the 4th quarter. Thats been the recurring theme for the last few years.
IF BH can learn to complete the short throws and keep the chains moving, then yeah, no reason to not set a high ceiling!

i thought Timmy was supposed to be playing baseball now?

Tebow really went out on a limb with this one.
He isn't wrong but it is also contingent on the o line and defense playing better as well. Need all three to improve to win a NC. I think they will but only time will tell if it will be enough improvement.

I can agree that we had no depth at DT or LB, but a 2 dimensional offense w a QB as a viable rushing threat would have kept those guys more fresh and given that team a fighting chance.

he didn't say by far lol

I think more creative, and ultimately effective play calling is the most neede change!
When I say effective.....quit dropping back a dual threat quarterback to be left in a pocket if the O Line cannot pass protect. Roll him out instead!

That's more of a schematic problem. And I'm not suggesting that he was great (or even good) in November.
And we could argue all day about whether it was the fault if injury or just not playing very well or both.
But, it is a fact that the DL and LBs gave up 800 yds on the ground in that three-game skid. That's not BH's fault. And it's arguably the primary reason we lost those games.
