Tigers looked good last night...but

Don't get me wrong. I'm extremely happy that our players got a win last night. Hopefully this is the start of long winning streak. However regarding the fake punt in the 4th. It was total bush league in my opinion. How about showing a little class Les? You went 7-5 in the regular season and you gotta show your arse when your beating up on someone in meaningless bowl game? I was a little embarrassed for him.

Coach Miles will never be able to win all the hearts anyway.....if he had not done something, he is a wimp and needs to be fired. He throws in a cool play and all of a sudden he is now classless!!
Just be happy it was a good solid win, they played as a team and hopefully we will have a better year in football next season!!

Not true. He was winning the damn game hands down. It was totally unnecessary and classless. That kind of shite will come back to haunt him I guarantee it.

It all likely hood it was most likely a hot read for the punter. I like putting the foot on oponents's throat. Kes learned his lesson well in his first year against the Vols and said that would never happen again!!!

Shut up. This is football, we didn't run a play with the last 30 secs in the first half and we only scored 3 pts in the second half. I was very happy with the execution in the first half and rathr upset with the execution in the second half. People shouldn't get mad at Les for playing the game and not willingly giving the ball to GT.
Isn't the purpose of the game to out play, out coach and out scheme the opp. Wellll, we did it.
If GT wants to get pissed, get pissed at their coach for not having the players prepared and hyped; at the players for not playing with more emotion and intensity.

There is nothing classless about this call. Play to win, play to DESTROY your opponent on the field, and shake his hand and after its over.
Its a game, you play to win and you play hard.
Its not an exercise in preserving the ego of your opponent or your opponent's fans.
Georgia Tech fans should be totally embarassed and outraged at THEIR OWN COACH AND TEAM's performance, and NOTHING that Les Miles did last night. Georgia Tech's staff and players talked a PILE of shite before this game... about how they were matched with an unranked team and the like.
Where is THEIR sportsmanship?

Maybe those who believe the fake punt was "bush league" should read the quote from a GT defender. Paraphrasing, he said that he is a competitor himself and he would have done the same thing."

FAIL!!!
This is FOOTBALL!!! The job of the defense is to stop the offense. A faked punt IS an offensive play, and their defense didn't stop it. GT needs to spend more time whining about what THEY failed to do last night vs. what LSU did and didn't do.
As for LSU fans, I do believe that had we gone totally conservative in the fourth quarter, there would be a certain percentage of rantards on here bitching because Les didn't keep the pedal to the metal. Les can't win with our fanbase, but he CAN win bowl games decisively.

I have been critical of Miles this year, but he had every right to do that. Maybe next time Paul Johnson wont talk trash before he plays LSU.

All things considered Les looked like a total a-hole in making this call. He coaches the team to a 7-5 record in the regular season. Then comes out and does the right thing in having the team prepared but then makes himself look like a total douche with that completey unnecessary bush league call. Says alot about the guy in my opinion.

I don't understand why so many of you are crying about the fake punt and calling it classless. LSU had a comfortable lead and it was a great opportunity for the players to get some experience under actual playing conditions. If they were really trying to run up the score, they would have scored more than 3 points in the 2nd half. It's not like GT stopped them from scoring.
