I'm not convinced that ESPN hates us. But I know first hand that Schlabach doesn't like LSU.
I spent 12 years as a sportswriter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and don't remember a single positive thing Mark ever said about LSU.

Exactly. As far back as 30 years ago, Bear Bryant stated that if he had the talent at Bama that LSU has he would win the National Championship every year.
Unless LSU hires a total flop to replace Miles, LSU will be an upper echelon team in college football for many,...

My question is who would he recommend for a long term solution. I doubt there are many coaches with a proven record that we would want AND who wouldn't leave LSU for their "dream job" in the next few years....

Spurrier is the best choice.
