Thanks for the input there BamaMike. Bet Bama won't assume any wins against teams like, say, Utah next year either. whaddya think?...
Hootie, Wrong slick. The news broke at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Until then it was pure speculation. Learn the difference between news and gossip, pal!...

I'm not convinced that ESPN hates us. But I know first hand that Schlabach doesn't like LSU. I spent 12 years as a sportswriter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and don't remember a single positive thing Mark ever said about LSU. I can't give you the exact numbers, but I'd guess that he...

Maybe those who believe the fake punt was "bush league" should read the quote from a GT defender. Paraphrasing, he said that he is a competitor himself and he would have done the same thing." Bush league is the chop block by of the Yellow Jacket linemen. A fake punt (regardless of the score) is c...

UGA fans could say the same for Stafford. When he was a freshman, he threw more interceptions than he did TDs. Give the kid a break, moron. He's a freshman....
What I remembe most was their defensive lineman David Pollack. He had this "thing" about dancing a jig on the sideline before every game. He did it in Death Valley that day also. I remind my friends here in Georgia that Pollack was dancing a jig before the game kicked off. But before halftime, he we...

Nick Saban for one! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:...
Louisiana made Saban too. Exactly. As far back as 30 years ago, Bear Bryant stated that if he had the talent at Bama that LSU has he would win the National Championship every year. Unless LSU hires a total flop to replace Miles, LSU will be an upper echelon team in college football for many,...

The SOS offense ain't what it used to be. Comparing the South Caroling offense to the Florida offense is so ridiculous it's unworthy of comment....
Spurrier had to apologize to his team last week Spurrier didn't "have" to apologize for anything. He did what a leader does. He said the buck stops here! Would you have had more respect for him if he had thrown his players under the bus like Saban did?...

The Champ is the one who commented that "we need a longterm solution" My question is who would he recommend for a long term solution. I doubt there are many coaches with a proven record that we would want AND who wouldn't leave LSU for their "dream job" in the next few years....

We need a longterm solution at head coach. Spurrier doesn't fit that mold at all. Like I said, who is your longterm solution?...

he would be a great candidate, but he won't a HC long at LSU Who has been at LSU for a long time? I believe Spurrier would be here for at least 6-7 years and I'll guarantee one thing, he will not leave LSU to coach at any other school. Name one other coach you would like to have who you c...

los angeles tiger you are dead wrong. Spurrier wants the LSU job and if offered, he will take it. Mark Schlabach, a veteran sportswriter with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and co-host of a regional sports talk show called Talkin' Football, said last night: "South Carolina fans, if Les ...

I know I tried to back up Miles all season long support him but, he blew it he WASTED yes WASTED a National Championship caliber team. There are at least 5-6 other "national championship caliber teams" in the BCS -- Missouri, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Ohio State, Georgia, etc. I guess the coache...

Spurrier is the best choice. Forget the age crap. At 62, he's got AT LEAST 5-7 good years left. That's the longest tenure of any coach we've had here in decades. AND BECAUSE OF THE AGE, HE WON'T BE LEAVING LSU TO TAKE ANOTHER JOB. Forget the "he doesn't like to recruit" crap. First, I don't be...
