Move fans to sideline seats to create the illusion of full capacity. ( See Super Bowl I)

Use the ESPN 3 camera trickery at ULL home games. Problem solved.

LSU has stated that after game expenses ($500K to $600K), the rest of the proceeds will go to USC. The conference office should pick up the tab for game expenses and send ALL of the proceeds to USC.

I do not understand how and why any true LSU fan makes "other" plans just because LSU is playing away? I am married with kids and my Virginia born and raised wife knows that LSU football comes first for 4 hours on a Saturday 13 or 14 games a year, unless there is medical emergency. True fans will be in front a TV watching LSU on the road if they cant make it there, not doing other stuff...save tbe plans for Sunday!

This is just.

4 hours to go to the game? Lmao. I really can't tell if you are serious.

You could easily fly in and fly out on Saturday. Where you at?

You probably already knew your regular babysitter was going on vacation, but if you weren't considering canceling your son's soccer game, why were you calling your back up babysitter?
BUSTED!

Heh. Gotta cover all the bases just in case.

I want to go bad ya know.

So all these people calling other people out is frustrating. Especially when they aren't going themselves. Basically, I hate hypocrites.

I was just joking, but I don't blame you for checking.
FYI - There may still be time to call every family on both teams and suggest calling it a tie game and then taking the players to Tiger Stadium!

There are multiple school fairs/carnivals in BR as well. Considering you have kids that have been pining for the fair, and the parents that have signed up to work the fair, it's a problem.

Couple that with the plethora of personal/family functions and events that were scheduled for this weekend because AT WAS AN AWAY GAME (I refer you to any number of threads bitching about friends/relatives having their weddings on weekends of LSU home games) and that is why people are not flooding to the stadium.

It sucks for everyone. I would love to go, but cannot due to both kids having conflicts for the very time of the game.

This. Conference needs to step up to the plate here.

Again, it's not about what you can afford, but what you're willing to pay

I agree with this. I don't know why this is turning into such a big deal for people on here.

I would love to go, but cannot afford it...

In the real world, down below the suites, there are actually these things called "poor people", who don't have a lot of money (or options). Some of them wish that LSU SEC games were not priced beyond their reach.

If the stadium's half-full, it's USC's fault. It's their damn home game.

A family of four on a budget is looking at $200-250. That's a large unexpected expense. Why should they have to dip into savings for a football game that they can watch at home?

ALL tickets should have been $25.
80,000 would have showed and it would have been the 80,000 representative of the 1980s and 90s. It would have blown your small mind.
