75 dollars is cheap

I don't know the cost of truck nuts, but I saw a fancy pair yesterday, probably at least the cost of one ticket. Priorities tho.

Obviously, the majority of tiger fans don't think $75 a head is a reasonable price for this game and I don't blame them one bit.

Theres at least 85,000 fans who would have paid more than 75$ with taf donations if this was a real home game.

50,000 would be a standard crowd back in the early '90s....and yes, you COULD walk up to the ticket window right before the game and buy tickets, sometimes for as little as $2!

They're paying that for the Bama game though. 30k would have given away their tickets.

That's great, and I don't doubt that.

This wasn't a pre-planned game. 75,000 of that 85,000 is season ticket holders who have to buy the entire season to keep their tickets.

The other 10k would be local and out of state fans wanting to go.

If you think $75 for a primo seat to an SEC matchup is too expensive, then I don't know what to say, except you poor. Particularly since the proceeds are going to a good cause. Step it up. We need to get more than the damn spring game.

You can buy $40 tickets folks...how many times do we have to hear $75

Tickets are not going to a good cause. They are going to the USC Athletic Dept...just to clarify a bit of misinformation

Except this isn't a regular SEC game, and the opposing SEC team is awful.

Would you pay $75 to watch LSU vs. Vandy?

you have to realize Pirate, that if LSU vs. Vandy didn't have to be paid for to get tickets to Bama too, it wouldn't fill the stadium if the game was free.

Because the $40 tickets are nosebleed seats. If the lower bowl tickets were $40 I'd have bought 4 for family and friends as gifts.

Just accept they got greedy and overpriced the tickets.
