I love what O has done inviting players back. Recruits are just gobbling that up, I imagine. However Im not sure how I feel allowing Cecil Collins back in among these players considering his past discretions involving women.

He seems to be doing a good job staying out of prison, so that's a good indicator he's turning it around.

Some times the guys who messed up the most have the most impact from a teaching perspective.

He did his time. If hes got his life together i see no problems. If hes doesnt then he probably shouldnt be on the sidelines.

20 years ago. And it's not like there are sleeping women on the 40 yard line to tempt him. He's done his time.

No issue with it. Everyone makes mistakes, obviously some worse than others, but it seems like he's learned from it. I'm glad we are giving him that chance.

If Cecil would like to purchase a program, let him! LOL. If you had structured your sentence correctly, I would say why not, he did his time.

Edit to say sorry Lester, I see you have corrected the OP.

He's paid his debt to society and he never physically harmed anybody . So provided he keeps his nose clean, I see it as a compassionate move that could help him stay connected to good people and on the straight and narrow . Second chances. Never third.

He served his time and paid his debt to society. Let him be.

Perfectly fine with it. He's served his time and on a better path according to recent interviews.

The ironic thing is if he'd just waited a couple of years to get some NFL money he'd been able to cuddle whoever, whenever with no prison time....unless he knocked one up or got married...but that's a whole 'nother prison.

That's why you aren't the coach of LSU. Cecil was the best RB to ever grace Tiger Stadium. If his story isn't enough to motivate the players to do their best on and off the field there never was one.

People talk about RB's falling forward for 2 extra yards. Cecil always fell forward for 4 to 5 yards.

That's fair and I wouldn't blame anyone for having a problem with it. However, the few things I've heard about him since he got out of jail have all been positive and that photo seems to show how genuinely pleased he was to be there on Saturday. I'm fine with him being back.

If anything, he can be an example for the current players to appreciate their opportunity to play for LSU.

Doesn't bother me but maybe we can coax him into Mike's trailer cage to make everyone feel safer next time.
