It's amazing how Chavis is now the scapegoat for all our problems since he's not here anymore. Bama has scored 41 total points in its last 2 trips to BR but it's Chavis fault we lost. If your offense can't score at least 20 points in this day and age of college football you don't deserve to win

3rd and Chavis has been talked about for years on the board, and off of it. You must be dumb, deaf, and blind.

The kick out of bounds was not planned. You can see that on les's face after it happened. The kick was a total gaff by the kicker.

After seeing Patrick Peterson's feet clearly in bounds on the TV replay, the announcers then show the officials watching the exact same replay in the booth on the field and they still said his feet were out of bounds...That's when I realized the only way to beat Bama is by blowing them out. If it's a close game, the SEC HQ refs will find a way to give Bama an edge.

While the refs didn't beat us, that very bad unsportsmanlike penalty on 2nd and goal surely didn't help us.

This is the damn truth! I couldn't believe that the refs didn't stop play to look at the pass that bama "completed" with less than a minute to go in regulation. I'm not saying the kid from bama didn't catch that pass, but the refs not reviewing it sure seemed odd. Even the announcers thought it should have been looked at.

But be careful when you question some of these plays and penalties because the bama homers like dukke v and his friends will brand the rest of as "whiners".

Ok.. Last years Bama D was the worst its been since he arrived and we could ONLT score 13 points on our home field????? Plus can't blame Chavis for that loss... Bama got a TOTAL of 315 yards the whole game.. Their second worse amount of the season. Held them to 105 rushing... LSU had plenty of chances to win that game but when you have a QB that can only go 8-26 for a dismal 76 yds against A not so great Bama team, you deserve to lose... Were there drops?? Yes but there were also passes that were uncatchable.... Plus the out of bounds kick was inexcusable.. That's on Miles... This is what pisses me off about Miles... Had the game at hand and blew it at the end on offense that nobody wants to blame him for.... And then this so-called SUPER talented team goes to Arkie and gets destroyed...123 yards of offense????? I guess that's Chavis' fault to.

The blown call in 2009 for PP interception. We would have to drive 69 yards with Jarrett Lee.

You never know how each play may unfold, that's why they play the fricking games. In 2010 in Baton Rough, Jarrett Lee comes off the bench late in the fourth quarter and with his back against his own end zone, he completes a very critical pass for a first down that gives the Tigers a first down and helps them defeat bama that day.

Who the hell would have given Lee a snowballs chance in hell of completing that pass? I would be willing to bet that there were very few Tiger fans that felt comfortable with Lee being the quarterback for that play.

But kudos to him, he stepped up and made a fantastic play that helped LSU win. That's why they play the fricking game.

Peej, I agree with you from time to time, but the kick out of bounds? Come on, that is not what Miles told him to do. Both, the 2012 and 2014 games should have been Tiger wins.

As for the 09 game, that was clearly an interception, even sane Bama fans admit this along with the rest of the world.Would LSU have won, maybe not but we will never know.

Was Bama a better football team in all these games? I think they were except maybe 2012. Tigers dominated stats like Bama did in 09. In 2014, if Quinn catches those two balls, LSU wins because Bama has no time left on the clock. If he catches one ball, the probability is that Tigers win the game.

I'm not picking on 8 and I believe he will do well at LSU, but it is what it is and everyone knows this.

So 3rd and Chavis cost us a game where we scored 13 points and had 76 yards passing at home?? This ain't the 1970's anymore. Hell its not even 2011. The game has changed. You have to score points to win.

Big bad bama and their "all star" defenses have been destroyed their last 2 postseason games vs. Ohio State(539 yds, 42 pts) and Oklahoma (429yds, 45 pts).

we did play it, and they beat us in every measurable category.

Is fans whining a measureable category? If so we win that one.

Hell yes I've questioned some of his calls. But the difference between you and me is that I don't get on here and shite all over the man about every little thing that goes wrong in a football game. If you think for one damn minute that Miles wanted the kick-off to go out of bounds, you're dumber then a box of rocks.

Yet you sit on here and state that the ball traveling out of bounds is "all on Miles". That's what you said, "all on Miles".

Everyone on the rant has probably said WTF a time or two over some of the things that Miles has done, but not everyone gets on here and makes him out to be an arse like you do.

By the way, every God Damn coach in America has had their WTF moments, even your God saban.

I don't believe it's whining when you get screwed on a play like Petersons interception that was ruled out of bounds. Why does the LSU lineman get flagged in last years game when there was just as many bama players pushing and shoving as LSU players. Should the fans not question some of these kind of calls and not complain when the refs have obviously blown some of these calls? Or should we just sit on our hands and keep our mouths shut?

That was def a terrible call...Not sure it helps us win the game thought...

That call didn't cost LSU the game though...And yes every fanbase will complain....AND I have seen LSU get away with a lot of calls itself. Funny how the LSU fanbase doesn't want to see this.......

Obviously you can talk about it, but to continually have a consensus of having to overcome all the Bama refs is just sad.

Look at this thread, you mention refs screwing us, you get 90% up votes,

At the end of the day there are plays that can be made that win games and we haven't been making them.

I agree for the most part, specially on the part about Jennings. He played decently but the receivers struggled. In 2012 Landry and Beckam were nowhere near the level they reached in 2013. Dupree and company are plenty talented they'll play well this season.

The refs are the least of three things that have Bama. The first two being underclassmen departures to the NFL and QB depth.
