re: This win is why you don’t fire your new head coach after a rocky start

If they give this type effort the rest of the year they will be all the game except Bama

Eat the biggest dick you fricking moron.
What about this game makes you think Ed O has it?
We won solely because Florida missed an extra point.

What makes you think O can get that kind of talent? Have you seen next years class? It's not that great of a class.

They can enjoy Ed righting the ship over the next 2-4 years.
So,......there’s that.

Ed will get to an SEC championship game in 2 years. He’ll win it in his 3rd. Ed gets 2-3 years to get it done. He will.
So you believe that Ed Orgeron can recruit and coach this program at an elite enough level and maintain it while possible losing a coordinator or two? I'll reserve my judgement till after the season(as if it matters) but I'm having a hard time seeing how this coaching heirarchy can lead to championships

They will all be on the same page. I bet you’re one of the people who thought LSU would get beat down by Florida.

Got three true freshman playing on o line. Think Coach O needs some slack. We'll be ok.

There was supposed to be continuity.

Who the frick do you think could have done a better job with this team. I think this guy is right about most of his post. I'm not sure he wins anything in year 3 but I think this roster will be much more deep with quality football players. If that is Os only job to get a roster full of really good players, who are mentally tough and are athletic then he would have done his job if he can avoid the losses to teams like Miss state and Troy from here on he would have earned his pay IMO. Stack the roster up, win games you're supposed to, compete with teams that are better and he will have done a great coaching job.
Then if he's willing to change a few things that aren't working, and improves each year while upgrading our roster he could win some games he's not supposed to as well. Maybe by year 3 he can win something special. Our team should be a nice veteran team by then, and as long as he keeps going after the right JUCO guys every year then LSU will be perfectly fine. GT

Exactly.
Continue what? lol
Some of these ‘fans’ are a joke. The guy just got the job. He’s going to get it fixed. This isn’t the turning point. But a road win in the SEC is a good win.

You're a special kind of dumb...like the kind of dumb where there's a good chance you're gonna hurt yourself.

We needed an upgrade.
I said at the time that Orgeron wasn't an upgrade. But he was sold to the fan base as someone who could at least maintain the program.

Any one of the 75 or so FBS coaches who have already proven they know wtf they're doing.

No. I’ve been pulling for Ed this whole time.
Why would anyone not want him to succeed? We need him to be better. He will be better. This is all going in the right direction. And SEC road win and these idiot posters on this site still want him fired.
