No because y'all can't give credit when it's due. You hate on LSU when they lose and win. That's pathetic fandom. It's not really fandom either, it's simply hate.

Look you people hate LSU. I don't, so what. That's on you and the rest of you. IDGAF what you do, keep on doing it in fact, turn up the heat on LSU. I'm not the coach, my job is safe, and I'm doing fine. But I'll call it like I see it and fair. Unlike you.

That's all y'all have is calling people simple minded names because your little brain can't keep up. It's something children do when they are frustrated lmao.

Lol. Just realized you are a chick. Oh god bless O; he's such a good Louisiana family man. He talks like us and eats gumbo. Clearly, he's the right coach for the job. Let's give him all the time in the world to accomplish an 8-5 season because the sound of yaw, yaw, yaw gets me wet.

How do you know what I realize? You have no idea of my thinking process do you? I live in the present, hope for the best and prepare for the worst. It's the way I live my life and I've done pretty damn good so for with this process.

A bad game doesn't effect me like it does you people apparently. I put these game in proper perspective, it's a game, it's kids playing in it, and things change all year. I try not to overreact, I sometimes do but try to keep it to a minimum. But I surely don't go wholesale ship is sinking mode after a win or a loss. Things change and ususally do weekly. I see a new coaching staff, struggling to find the right chess moves for this current team. Every team is different no matter how close they resemble.

That's all I'll add to this. I how you guys come around and start supporting this team, if not O or any of this staff then at least for the kids. Good luck fellas

This is wrong. Going by the recruiting calendar (Feb being the end of the year) he was RC for only one year. He was named RC in March of 2016.

This. He's always talking about who he's going to recruit. Like that means anything for this year. Sounds like he's counting on another year when he should be coaching like there's no tomorrow!

I really don't know how to give the short version of this, but why does Ed need 2-3 years minimum? Les Miles was able to take over the program and maintain winning and success at recruiting.

In his 11 years as LSU's head coach, he only had 3 seasons with more than 3 losses and never had a season with more than 5 losses. In Saban's 5 years he had 2 seasons with more than 3 losses. In 2002, we were expected to be a top 5 team, but that's the year we ended up 8-5 and if it wasn't for the bluegrass miracle that team would have finished 7-6.

People wanted Miles gone because he refused to change his offensive philosophy, but even before that became an issue many fans were vocal about not liking Les Miles. And people didn't like him for the stupidest reasons, I remember talking to a guy at work and he was saying how he hated Les Miles. This was a few years into his career at LSU and he would talk about how he was thinking about not even renewing his season tickets, etc and then goes on to tell everyone the reason he didn't like Miles. He said because Miles was in Gerry Dinardo's wedding he would end up messing things up just like Dinardo. That's just full out retarded.

Anyway, if Ed needs 2-3 years minimum to "right the ship" then why was everyone so hell bent on firing Miles. This year's team has the following ranked recruiting classes, per class. Seniors 3rd ranked, Juniors 2nd ranked, Sophomores 5th ranked and Freshman 7th ranked. I thought all we needed was someone who would install a better offense and we would be just fine. Now.. He needs 2-3 years minimum?

I am glad we won today, but don't get me wrong, it wasn't a pretty win. We won because Florida missed a PAT.

Our O line looked better than I expected, but Florida isn't that good of a team. They got beat convincingly by Michigan, they beat Tennessee and Kentucky both, in the last play of the game. And last week they beat Vandy by 14 points, but they just game off an arse whipping given to them by Bama. Teams always struggle the week after playing Bama..

So what has this year's team given us? They beat BYU and Chattanooga as expected, we got drilled against MSU. We were undisciplined and just seemed to not care. Syracuse comes to BR and we were lucky to pull out that W. It wasn't anything to be excited about. Then Troy. Troy had the lead the whole game. And before anyone says "Troy isn't that bad of a team". They have one loss.. To Boise St, their other wins came from Alabama St, New Mexico St, Akron and then LSU. Before playing LSU, they beat a SWAC team, a New Mexico St team should be a DII school and Akron, which isn't impressive at all. So their is no excuse as to why we lost to Troy. It was at home, we have by far more talent than they do, we have more depth than they do..

What makes you think he will win the SEC in his 3rd year? He had some success as an interim HC. He was able to beat teams they were expected to beat, but he didn't turn Ole Miss around.

So with all that said.. Why does he need 2 to 3 years minimum? And what makes you so sure he will win the SEC in his 3rd year?

after going 4-7 and 3-8 in prior seasons? there were some but I wouldn't say a vocal minority of the fanbase. It was ugly but what the Saban lost to UAB crowd excuse always seems to conveniently omit, LSU beat a good Tennessee team the following week and beat bama at home for the first time since the late 60's. LSU goes from 3-8 1-7 in the SEC to 8-4, 5-3 in the SEC with decent starters but a depth chart that was thin.

quit confusing logic with retardation. The win against Florida was awesome but if LSU doesn't back it up with at least some consistency it's becomes false hope for the ones that treated yesterday like they won the SEC.

I know right!

After firing Miles because of his first two loss September in 12 years, we're now stuck with a coach that had two September losses in his first season and celebrating some nail biting win over an awful Florida team that was a must win to make sure we qualify for the Indy Bowl!!

Damn you Alleva you fricking cock cobbler, you really screwed this program overreacting to the rocky start last year!!

You are right on.

In case anyone has noticed, we have been getting thinner at OL & DL over the last few years of Miles tenure. He recruited some players at those positions who just didn't pan out (Teuhema, Bain, Lmafo, etc.).

2018 recruiting class needs at OL, DL and so forth are vital to this program. Anyone who would wish the 2017 season to go in the crapper so "O" would get fired is not a true fan of "LSU" football.

Correct. Ed will close the gap and right the ship over the next 3 years. We’ll have the SEC sewn up soon.

A lot of these so called ‘fans’ are a joke. Hoping our coach fails to prove they were right is pathetic.
