After a 3-0 start and #7 ranking, it's pretty obvious to all us RANTards that Les Miles and his entire coaching staff are in over their heads.

Why can't everybody see that?

Has he averaged 10.5 wins a year and won an NC?

The fanbase is too complacent. The majority is used to winning all the time. You want to see the sky really fall, let Miles drop one to La Tech or Tulane. When Saban dropped that one to UAB, people were upset. But since LSU dropped one to Houston like the year before under Dinardo, it wasn't the end of the world. Also, I think when you wake up on Sunday morning and watch Drew Brees absolutely obliterate an NFL defense, it kind of dampers the recent memory of a 19 year old's performance. Who knows...

LSU is winning. Who cares how?

There are plenty of people in Tallahassee that want Bobby Bowden OUT! We're talking about a living legend too. It happens everywhere.

He has done nothing this decade. Again, find someone similar to Miles' record that receives the same treatment.

Let Urban Meyer lose a few games, and see what the fan base in Gainesville does. Heck, look at what happened to Fulmer at Tennessee.

I've always wondered about him too. Why does he always get thrown up as a top 3-4 coach in the SEC, often times ahead of Miles? He hasn't done shite @ UGA.

Good question. Not sure how fans feel about him, but he seems to underachieve.

They tried to run out Paterno the past 5 years. They want Bowden gone.
They sent Coker packing.
They will be sending Spurrier out soon enough.
They sent Fulmer packing the year after an SEC Championship game appearance.
I used to hammer Saban during the Booty/Randall/Jamarcus years.

Winning breeds expectations. See SMOKE LAVAL.

When will our fan base stand up and start demanding lopsided wins?

Why Miles wasn't run out of town for winning the BCS championship with two losses is beyond me.

Crowton's incompetence is obvious to everyone on the RANT. If he can't produce dominating offensive game plans for our inexperienced QBs, he needs to go.

Just look what Pete Carroll does when faced with the same situation. His Trojans would never settle for less than a lopsided win against a previously 0-13 team like Washington.

Who does Les and his coaching staff think they are kidding?

someone pointed out to me recently that a very vocal minority of LSU fans would rather be right about the team/coach than see LSU win. They have made their conclusions about the team based on ignorance and raw emotions and they don't care about the concept that a season is a long term "process" (as Saban used to harp on constantly). These fans would rather see LSU struggle and/or lose so they can run around saying "see I told you so."

This isn't specific to LSU, this is just the way things are now with the internet and so much information at our fingertips. Even with all the info out there available to us, you still can't help the stupid.
