The win was great, but Etling scares me.

Yes, maybe we don't even have a chance to win against auburn and bama moving forward, but the end of last game told all. Etling will not be able to handle a game with pressure start to finish, and win the big ones.

Is it worth putting in Brennan in those moments? Or do we stick to the plan regardless?

Etling makes Jefferson look competent. That overthrow to Williams along the sideline was BAD.

He didn't play well but I don't think the pressure bothers Etling.

Our Offense was still horrible. People need to realize we scored less points against UF than every other team they played

We are just opening Etling up. 26 yards rushing this week?

Look for 75+ next week. The guy is just getting warmed up.

He's too quick to escape the pocket and takes too many shots. He's gonna get injured if he keep it up.

No, he's clearly not ready. We win the Troy game if MB doesn't play.

If Etling struggles like that against Auburn, look for Brennan to come in and take the reigns for the rest of the season. That's what they've been (trying) getting ready for.

Etling knows he screwed up in the swamp, and I'd bet he'll be ON come Saturday. JMO

We will not beat really good teams with Etling at QB, and I truly like the kid.

It is what it is

there was no pressure on the Williams overthrow.

Etling gives up on play way too early, also.

I think we all realize the offense isn't good.

Due to Miles and Cameron regime, Etling is all LSU has right now. A Purdue transfer that couldn't win the job outright at Purdue!

When you can, I would get Brennan some more reps but I don't see many opportunities for that rest of the way unless Etling continues to take on SEC defenders and he won't make it through the year from an injury standpoint.

I guess I was dreaming when I thought Narcisse or Scott might have a small role in this offense as a true dual threat but maybe in my lifetime I will see competent QB play at LSU.

If you expect Brennan to lay it on the line and take some of the hits that Etling was taking in an all-out fight to get yards and first downs ... then you should expect Brennan to end up in about 8 pieces.

Win the big ones? LOFL. Let's just focus on beating the bottom dwellers and non-P5 schools....Sun Belt types and such.

If Etling gets injured he won’t get the job back.

Pretty sure he knows he's not going to the NFL ... perhaps that's why he's still playing hard ... unlike some people.

Etling has always had trouble when it comes to making decisions quickly. He hesitates too much. But I really believe he is a big reason we beat Florida.

How quickly we forget.

It was bad. But I wonder if Williams was supposed to keep the sideline a bit more. He kind of crept back toward the hash on his route. The ball looked ok until it sailed over his head. Either way he had time to put that throw where it needed to be, there was plenty of room away from defense

But it’s Etling that scares you...
