I wanna say that JL has a lil stronger arm too, but I'd like to see him play at least a quarter or half of a game to get a current update

The WC isn't supposed to be a threat for passing, that's just a small wrinkle in the package.

Right. You're selling out to the run and 95% of the time you're going to run out of that formation.

Jefferson's arm strength is not an issue. his arm may even be stronger than Lee's. His issues are footwork, reading defenses, decision making and most of all, an extremely slow release.

Man, I don't know about that. All I can think of is the underthrown deep balls the last 2 years, and how JL basically threw the TD against Auburn to Chris Mitchell falling backwards. I know all of Jefferson's short throws are rockets, but Lee has a pretty good arm too.

i think lee has the stronger arm. jj defiantly has foot work and mechanical issues though.

which might be able to be fixed by getting a qb coach in here but no miles loves his buddy gary

Do you think the band could play Thunderstuck after we run the thundercat?

All valid points, yet I'm still hesitant to call out the defense for something like a lack of blitzing. We tied for 5th in the nation in total sacks (albeit with about 84536253 other teams).

Nevertheless, they are getting the job done. Maybe you're just not seeing the blitzes cause Chief has disguised them so well

I just don't want to Peterson to get worn down...especially when we have someone like Shepard who can play running QB, and basically did the wildcat in High School...

I agree but could be two seperate issues. Shep should be running this and hell just let him throw a few times. Can't be worse than a HB option to pass.

The only difference I see is that PP is Bigger

yeah, the fw and mechanics are probably the main reason he's been so inaccurate this year.

scarecrow does whatever miles tells him to do. must be a bad picture that someone doesn't want to get out.

so, we are going to put Peterson, our best DB and punt returner, in at QB, when we have Russell Shepard perfectly capable of running it? Makes little sense.

I agree. All we would be doing is tiring out the best DB on the field and increasing his risk of injury. I understand we need a play maker he is not worth the risk. Let him shut down the the opponents' best receivers and take PR back for touch downs.

i would love to see PP run 3 or 4 plays on offense...only if his cramps would allow him to...don't fool yourselves he's in the physical condition to do it...and as tiger ryno said, peterson at QB with shep in motion from the slot guaranteed 7 yards every play similar to ingram at wildcat with richardson gunning

you're right chicken. and it's not who we have running it, it's who we have blocking for it. shep could be fantastic in that formation if he had blocking and if they would let him throw a pass occasionaly just to keep 'em honest.
