Because we successfully fielded every punt and kickoff?

If Ole Miss is 10-0 and LSU is 3-7, my perception would still be that LSU is the better team and better program.

Guess I’m wrong, and we should act like we just won the natty every time we beat them.

Rushing the field for Ole Miss is pathetic. We aren't Mississippi State.

Now if you do it, it looks like we rush it after every conference win.

Oh no! “They” might think LSU students run onto the field after games. Whatever would we do in that scenario?

For a day game, the crowd seemed pretty liquored up.
Especially the students.

And that's why they rushed the field.

As much as I liked the posts about "regaining our self-respect" and all that, I think once a few boozed-up kids climbed over the wall the drunken masses followed. They probably don't even know who we play next.

Honestly I'm surprised there were enough people still at the game to rush the field at all.

Get the frick out of here old man. Perception matters? You’re a tool.

Let the kids have fun.

So did I! Pulled some grass from the end zone and watched Gabe Northern run past waving the LSU flag. Good times!

Well hopefully you get your chance in two weeks. Because they’ll rush the field again if LSU beats Alabama.

So you're not a student but are verbalizing the thoughts and emotions of the students that rushed the field filtered through your middle aged world view.

Too much energy is being put into this issue, but what you're doing is just odd.

We rushed the field for us and no one else . We rushed the field because we earned our self respect back. We rushed the field because we are Louisiana and we like to party and it was a reason to party.

This is incredibly stupid. A whole 2 years of bad football. Wow. I did 6 in college. I can do 2 standing on my head.

It's not the same thing. We have beaten a top ten ranked Alabama team MANY more times than we have beaten a top ten ranked Ole Miss team.

"According to ESPN Stats & Information research, LSU became the first team since at least 2005 to defeat an AP Top-10 team by 25 or more points after trailing at halftime."

ESPN

Fans gonna be fans.
