As the TV guy said during the broadcast, the safety was watching Mett all the way, keying on where he was looking.
So he didn't look off the safety?, and I'm sure they noticed game film from last week when Mett threw into double coverage instead of the TE who was wide open.

Wow. I can assure you that the Ole Miss safety was not saying, "Oh it's ok if we give up 6-7 yards rushing every play to number 27. I can play pass first and not help with the run while he is in the game."

Have you watched any LSU football since Miles got here ? That is how it works with LSU fans.

By Hugh effing Freeze. Looks like he woke up in the second half but it was too late.

I'd rather lose to anyone else.

Our offense didn't play their best and our defense is weak this year.

The reason we dont change our style of defense or offense is because of CLM. He has been this way since he got here. He is gonna play his style of offense and defense no matter the team faced. Yes this coaching philosophy will win you a lot of games but it will make you look like a fool in some too. Think back on how we lost the games we lost. They all boil down to stubborn coaching.

What I noticed Pre Cam last year and it was the Florida game where it was just so obvious was that I knew what the LSU offense was going to do and where they were going to do it, and if I know, that's a problem.
Cam has to be an improvement to that.

Well it is obvious when Les takes over the offense. We know what that "offense" looks like all too well.

It wouldn't be the first time. One of Jimbo Fisher's best buddies used to work out with me...needless to say...don't put it past Les to take control of the offense from anyone.

Hugh Freeze is a better coach than Cam Cameron and it's really not even debatable. Why are you shocked? We are talking about a man that went 18-37 as a college head coach. He was head coach for 1 year in the NFL and had a 1-15 record....the worst season in Miami Dolphin history. He was fired after 14 games with the Baltimore Ravens....a team that went on to win the superbowl because of his absence. When you accept the fact that Hugh Freeze is one of the best young coaches in America, maybe it won't hurt as bad. Too many people have fooled themselves into thinking Cam Cameron is some sort of genius when history tells us, he is a decent coordinator and an awful head coach.

If you don't think that other teams don't notice when Jeremy Hill is in the game and when he is not, then you've never played football. Hill >>>>>>>>>>> Hilliard, and the defense knows that.

So it is the coaches fault when a QB throws 3 picks and almost 2 more.

The Mett did not check down or notice the double coverage. They pointed out on TV we had a few underneath routes open on each of those plays.

Mett had a bad game. He will be better the rest of the year
So you're saying he will throw fewer than 3 interceptions per game the rest of the year? I sure hope so!

Mett has a bad habit of staring down his receivers as soon as the pass play starts. I don't think he will ever be worth a shite in the pro's.

we both know that Les Miles gets outcoached quite a bit.

When LSU wins, Cameron did a great job of coaching. When LSU loses, Miles got outcoached. If some folks on here were any more stupid, they'd be using photosynthesis rather than ingestion.

True dat. Every time LSU wins it's just a matter of good luck. Never and I do mean NEVER has Les done his job and prepared LSU for a game. We need to fire him.

hey psycho, i never said that every LSU win is luck. and, I've never said that Les has never outcoached someone. In fact, he's outcoached the great Nick Saban on multiple occassions. But, there is a laundry list of games in which Les Miles has been outcoached by worse coaches and beating by less talented teams. And some of those we still lucked out and won, and some we've lost. That's all i was saying.

Tennessee 2010 rings a bell. That was a loss in my book.

look, Les Miles gets full credit for the beginning of the season and the change of offense. I give Les Miles 100% credit for us being able to score 40+/game and 400+ yards a game on offense early in the year. He's the head coach and deserves all the credit for that.

He also deserves all the blame for shutting down the offense in the last 2 games.

2009 MSU, where Chad Jones single-handidly bailed us out in another game of not being prepared. Kentucky and Arkansas in 2007. well, i'm just getting aggravated, so I'll stop trying to think of all of them.

Georgia 2009. Total luck out there as well.

Florida 2010 or 2009, can't remember which. Total luck out there as well.
