But last night, where was that nega-voice in Tiger Stadium? Silent.

it was there. But people realized that it wasn't the time to bash the man when we thought it was his last hoorah. Did you expect to hear boo's when the clock hit 0?

What was seen and heard last night was a stadium full of love and appreciation for their beloved, zany, very human (thus imperfect) head coach. And overwhelming support in the form of signs, cheers and a standing ovation for him and his family before things even got rolling
cool. Because people thought this was the end. See the carry-out

This positive presence at the game, and not the cult of negativity, is the majority - the true, wisest and best voice of the real LSU Nation.
The guys who think this team's ceiling is 8-9 wins, we have good player development, and who enjoy weekday bowl games at noon are a cult just as much if not more than those who want what's best for the program.

It's difficult to tolerate this disingenuous position. Most of the fans were just expressing appreciation for past accomplishements, not demanding his retention. We thought it was his last game.

I was there. I cheered. But nonetheless I feel it's in the best interests of the program to move on. At least if championships are the aim. There were countless others like me in attendance. You can't honestly interpret the cheering as some referendum on retaining Miles. That should be obvious.

I like how the fans that want the program to prosper in the future and not be stuck as a middle of the pack SEC team is suddenly called "negatigers". Y'all mother frickers are delusional.

It's not obvious to them just as consistently 3rd to 5th in the SEC West isn't obvious to them.

Why would they spend money to protest? Staying home is good enough.

They are loud on the Internet. Really tough guys. In person they are as quiet as can be. They don't speak for the majority but they like to think they do.

I cheered because LSU won a game against a divisional opponent and because I thought it may be Miles' last game, not because of some outward display of wanting him back.

The general populace is idiotic; I'd hardly point to what they want/believe as some sort of vindication of winning an argument.

Last night was group think at its finest.

People cheered for a successful career and were ushering him out. I clapped for Miles on multiple occasions - he deserves that for what he has done over 11 years.

However, I firmly believe a change needs to be made.

If it was announced he was back Saturday morning, you have had a MUCH different experience with the "love" being shown.

Exactly my point. If there was such commitment to his departure, where were they last night? Was their money where their mouths are? Or were they at home and in sports grills, lurking in their media man-caves, spewing their negativities among their like minded fellow cultists?

They do not speak for the best that is LSU!

It was a victory lap for Les and LSU and a proper send off. Not actually wanting him to stay.

There won't be a repeat performance of this next year when the same ol shite is happening again. The reception will be rather frosty.

That was eloquent if not largely flawed reasoning. How's Tampa?
