At some point this season (maybe next game) they're gonna have to trust him to throw across the middle. I know they don't want him to possibly turn it over, but bama will mostly take away the deep balls he got tonight.

Progress has been great and follows closely with improved pass protection. One thing we'll need to agree on is that there were a few throws that he made last night that he cannot try to make 11/7.

Someone on the SECr told me last week that he wasn't improving, though?

LSU threw over the middle against Florida. Those plays are in the playbook.

They didn't use much short passing game against WKU for whatever reason.

Nasty, wet weather conditions.

LSU was always going to grind WKU down with the run, and pull away in the 4th quarter. The only real danger would have been turning the ball over, like you might see with a wet ball thrown in traffic (receiver tips ball in air). No need to take that chance. Note- Guice dropped the toss when he came in early, the ball was slippery then. Tigers seemed to decide then that they would stay with handoffs, and Fournette, at that point.

Improvements every single week, and he started off a lot better than he got credit for.

Harris threw a square-in last week. It was a beautiful thing to see. You're right, we have to show it all in order to gain advantages over bama and keep their LBs from sneaking up. Geaux Tigers

True, but there were also several passes where he hit the receiver on the money and were dropped. It isn't all just on Harris. I think he has come along nicely since the beginning of the season.

Bama secondary has improved some, but after watching them several times, I don't see that shut down secondary that they ve had in the past. D line and LBs are very good though. Think we can win in passing game.

With no picks.

It's now been over a year since he's thrown one.

At one point early in the season, I read posts claiming Leonard Fournette was the 3rd best back in the SEC. I wouldn't put too much weight in the opinions that come from that place.
