Anyone else want to meet up and have a Knute Rockne moment?

In all seriousness the old spot has a cool set up in memory of that majestic place if you've never been.

I'll be over there in about an hour for a moment for luck!

LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!

Have not been back to Omaha since they opened the new park. Did they leave ANY part of Rosenblatt there?

They left the foul poles. Also the old sign from the scoreboard.
Scroll up I just added a pic of what the set up looks like.

Rosenblatt oozed character but I gotta admit, I'm starting to warm up to this new park.

Yea. You can just walk in. It's just in the middle of a parking lot where the old stadium stood. The original foul poles are still in place. You can see them in the foreground.

would like to see some current pics. If it's still in that good of shape, that's impressive.

They finally found the right combination of bats/balls. TD Ameritrade is nice, but making every power hitter an automatic flyout absolutely crushed the game's appeal.

The CWS has been fun again this year.

Wind has been blowing out at TD Ameritrade this year.
In the past it gusts into the stadium.

Tues looks to be a windy forecast

This year it has, no question. But I think I'd still like to see the fences moved in a bit. The wind is not always going to be this favorable.

Bring the bases and mound in and you could have a neat whiffle ball park.

i think our performance has alot to do with starting to warm up to the new one. we were 1-4 before this year and we switched that around this year to 4-1. lets get that 7th win in TD for #7!!
