That fake was Chris Jackson's call. It was well documented. He was given the freedom to make his call if the formation was right (he was a John Curtis QB). However, nobody intended for him to make that call in THAT situation.

I left in the 3rd quarter but mainly because I had my 10 year old son with me and it was so damn cold. I swear the wind chill in the upper east section was sub zero, but the actual temp was in the low 50's if I remember correctly.

Easily 1982 Florida State. Oranges thrown from the student section and the dense fog rolling in. Unlike any other game.

I was in the student section and nearly 3/4ths of the stadium left around halftime... I stayed with a couple buddies and it ended up being the game where you found out who were real fans or not. Was a really fun game.
