USC lost to Washington who did not win a game last year and they are 4 in the coaches poll. We lose to the defending national campions and the #1 team in the country and we are ranked 9th.

Any other team would have dropped further after the loss to Wash.

Not to mention it took them 1 week to get back into the top 10.

This shite is so old. USC had the same record as the BCS National Champion in 2003,2007, and 2008, but got left out of the game. And with the exception of 2003, it was the voters that contributed to it. They will likely get left out again this year for 1 1-loss SEC school.

USC lost first, that is the main reason why they are there. Its bullshite, but that is how it has always been. If LSU beats Bama and Florida the polls will get reshuffled when it matters.

IF LSU takes care of business we will do the same. Patience my friend. USC will probabily end up loosing to the Ducks next week and we will finally stop hearing about USC.

USC has a huge national following thanks to them being forced down everyone's throats for the past 8 years or so. So there will be alot of votes their way.

If LSU takes care of their own schedule we will control our own destiny. But that includes beating Bama, Ole Miss, Arky, and then beating UF in the SECCG.

It's a tough road, but possible.

And they have been FORCED down our throats. The last time I watched one of their games this year, I got so bleeping tired of hearing how they had the best defense in college football.

I saw it coming the moment they lost to UW. The media waited a couple of games for the dissapointment to die down and then broght them right back into the conversation.

USC lost very early and dropped to #12. Then in the next few weeks, 7 teams ahead of them lost. Which means they would be at #5. One more spot up is because they're better than Boise State, which means they're at #4. It's not a conspiracy people. That's how the polls work.

lsumatt,

When the last time you checked out who USC plays?
Sorry but you don't deserve the NC if you lost to teams like stanford, Oregon st and Washington.

SOS. Says the SEC gets there.

At the end of the Texas game, they finished the interviews with McCoy and then straight to USC w/o going to commercial or Saunders or mentioning other games or scores. Blatant.

This.

Any one-loss SEC champion will trump a one-loss anybody else based on strength of schedule 99 times out of a 100 (if not 100% of the time at that).
