re: Flash floods in Texas, Oklahoma kill 2, 100s of homes gone - lsumatt
You do know that the reason only 2 people died and not thousands was because of fossil fuels, right? Can you imagine what would have happened if we didn't have gasoline powered transportation and electricity?...

re: So about these earthquakes in Dallas and elsewhere - lsumatt
Amazingly the oil and gas companies have found a way to simultaneously: 1. reduce carbon emissions 2. reduce our dependence on foreign oil 3. reduce the price of gasoline at the pump 4. increase the number of jobs in the US ..and people want to shut it down. I swear that some people just ha...

re: So about these earthquakes in Dallas and elsewhere - lsumatt
You know that fracing is mostly responsible for the United states meeting the terms of the Kyoto protocol (despite not signing it), while other countries who signed failed to meet it, right?...
NEVER submit to a field sobriety test,
I hear this a lot on here. So the time I got pulled over when I had drank nothing but water, I should have spent the night in jail, got my name in the paper, and lost my license for a year instead of sleeping in my own bed? ...

Lost audiobooks on iphone - lsumatt
I bought several audiobooks last summer from iTunes which were somewhat pricey. I replaced my iPhone in the fall with a new one and backed the phone on iCloud but now I can't find any of the audiobooks. Google search seems to suggest they don't get backed up on iCloud (wtf?) and attempting to dow...
What's Shoal Creek like? I usually go to Lavaca
It's a Louisiana bar with mostly cajun/seafood. Have a big Saints helmet out front and very LSU/Saints friendly. I used to go a lot 8-10 years ago because they had nothing but 27" tube TVs, so I quit going. At least they have flat...
If La Tech and Murray both won conf tourneys, do you think LSU would be in the NCAA's? I doubt it.
[b]We are a fricking 9 seed! re: Isn't Craig Victor a big man? - lsumatt
I may be in the minority, but I think Malone has the potential to improve a lot and be a strong starter his senior year if he sticks around. I think he is a decent 3 point shooter and that hasn't been visible this year (he shot over 40% last year and had nice touch. The fact that he continues to try...
