Sure I can - he's listed as the winning coach. He also coached a team that was forcing FG attempts, rather than scoring TDs (though a lot of that was Pelini).

the field goalcomplaint is just stupid. The kicker basically missed 5 field goals over 40 yards. Those were pretty much prayers.

Miles would be 5-1 against Auburn, except for the cheating refs in 2006.

Miles is currently 4 and 1 vs auburn. So you meant he would be 5 and 0. But we lost that game either way.

I don't know what Richt's problem is because I don't really keep up. But are you seriously doubting Spurrier's coaching ability. He gets very little top ranked talent at SC and that equals little depth. He has put together some pretty good seasons at SC with what he is working with. Look at what he did at Fl and he was competing with Miami for talent in that state. What everyone forgets is that when Saban came to LSU he started with nothing. Following behind Dinardo was a total uphill battle and look what Saban did. Miles came to an already stacked team with a reputation and his record is comparable to Sabans in the same time frame. Miles team lacks discipline and exacution, and these are the areas great temas excel at, Period! I would gladly take a "washed up" Spurrier!

nothing? Pretty sure there were a number of players that went to the NFL that saban got to start with.

Great job saban, you locked down louisiana. Thank you for that. You and miles have had similar succes with similar talent.

You people act like saban was coaching a bunch of jr high school kids and went undefeated.

Dinardo left quite a bit of talent at LSU.

Good Post! Miles is a class guy. He did the right thing with Perriloux and has paid for it every since. Any reasonable fan should be able to put that in perspective. Did i say reasonable fan?

Agreed, but most of the piccalo players are too young to remember the above mentioned guys. Of course they can check NFL rosters etc.
Wonder if Kiffin will keep Jackson?

My point was that no coach will win it all every year. You Miles haters have no credibility IMO. He has the best record in LSU History over his tenure and he continues to recruit great talent.
He also has something Saban doesn't have and that is Character. You guys keep complaining all you want but Miles isn't going anywhere so get over it!!

I am not a Miles basher, but I think he like all these coaches should be held accountable. They and their staffs are well-paid, especially compared to the rest of the faculty and staff. They are not tenured and are expected to produce regularly.

I am, in fact, a Miles supporter, but I am not a dead-ender.

Coaches are an investment in a college program and one should remember that past results are no guarantee of future performance. Sometimes these coaches are like corporate executives who keep getting raises while the business loses money.
