Why do you assume the most optimistic result instead of the most realistic result?

You ASSUME a lot. You said he cannot evolve. He cannot change bc he is 55 years old. I merely asked at age do people stop changing? Stop learning?

Your fallacy is to think that everyone evolves or changes at the same age and the same rate. I'm guessing you are under the age of 35.

If he can win 10 a year with good offense it's far from failure. Thing about being a given 10 win team every year sometimes a player or two will emerge to be that difference maker and get that 11th win and get us to playoffs.. O can do it. I'm a believer now. Sure it may be the OC and DC but isn't that the case with all teams pretty much.

Miles was fired for winning "ten a year" and no longer winning championships.

Why are you lowering the bar for Orgeron?

I think the real point here is that LSU football had become painful to watch, even for diehard fans. It was boring, coaching errors were embarrassing, clock management issues, no fire in the team. We were becoming a laughing stock.

LSU has been more exciting since O took over. The team has fire and it is more fun to watch. You have to give the ticketholders some entertainment for their money.

he was fired for losing to teams we should beat and barely winning games we should win also. Offense was archaic. We seemed to have leveled off at a much lower level than we use to be at.

Bottom line: Orgeron should be held to the same standard to which Fisher or Herman would have been held.

No lowering the bar because he eats crawfish etoufee.

This kind of rhetoric is absurd. Adversely affects your credibility and reveals your own bias. You should have stopped before last paragraph.

I might add: (1) offense was stagnant; (2) QB and passing game unimaginative and unproductive (less the OBJ, Mett and Landry year); (3) he promised to change and did not; (4) and his SEC record the last 2 years was way down.

Exactly. Watching LSU football, which is my top lifelong interest/hobby, had become very painful and frustrating and "un-fun".
