Chavis was crying about an offense that left him on the field too long.

Now he's crying about the $400k he owes us to do something about it.

supposedly wanted Cam to take his foot off the gas and burn some clock vs. Georgia so that he could figure out why his D was getting roasted so bad...

Cam and Les are a defensive coordinators best friend. I'm sure Chavis will find out what being on the field too long is really all about.

The really hilarious thing about that is we were top 10 nationally in time of possession in 2014.

Shut the frick up!

LOL, Just pointing out the facts. Funny if someone wants to get on here and point out issues with the highest paid OC in the business, u get this kinda silliness from an idiot like fatbrod.

But let Miles make any type of error and its negative news all over this site.

Btw, a helluva play call the other night with Gordon Dillon. Keep up the good work, Cam.

13-7 in 2.5 years, that's half a game behind Georgia and a game behind Mizzou for 2nd in the conference in that time.

0-2 Bama

2013 - trailed 14-17 at halftime. Bama scored a touchdown on every drive in the second half.

2014 - led 13-10 with :50 remaining in the game. Bama drove the field with no timeouts and won the game.

Gordon Dillon? His name is Dillon Gordon.

So now I take it his play calling is responsible for player injuries? Grind axes much?

U can make the numbers say whatever you want to make your point. The reality is that we expected way more from the offense last year. LSU was hard to watch last yr offensively. Most understand this. And other than Whisky, which is debatable, Id have to google to find another major team that was this poor on offense.

Since we are playing with #'s, lets add up the increased yardage and divide by the OC's pay and lets see where the Cam effect puts us on that scale.

Yes

No

Sure wish the Head Coach got a 10th of the support that this guy continues to get.

Right back at you, dummy.

Well that was stupid of you. Oline was young and weak and the QB sutuation was terrible. Neither guy was ready. Cam has gotten Harris right though. Maybe a result of bringing him along slowly.

I hope you realize what a fricking moron this makes you sound like. He took a complete mess of an offense and has been broken LSU records offensively. That's without running a stupid offense that scores in a minute and leaves its defense on the field all game.

Seriously, you're an idiot. Give up before you start sounding even more like a dumbass. We're in a great season and you're focusing on last year. Quit trying to make your view of the football team match your view of life, you negative little bitch

The name calling and the profanity is not necessary, ebb. It makes u look weak and unintelligent, but have it your way. You really, think u know anything about me and my view on life because Im critical of the highest paid OC in the business?

I didnt bring up the cam effect, just gave my perspective on it. You certainly didnt change my opinion with your uneducated rant. Now go back to where u came from and keep sucking the OC's prick, if u must.

Your perspective is to sit here and bitch about the one year that the offense didn't average 450 yards and 35 points per game.

Say what you want about our shitty offense last year, but it's a complete 180 degree change this year (play calling wise). You can knock Cameron all you want but the offensive calls/game plan last week against Florida was on point. You don't even know the TE's actual name and you're trying to blame Cameron for him getting injured? Lol, dude you were fine earlier when you were listing facts, but this quote above discredits you entirely. If you can't see the difference between this year and last year, there's nothing I can do for you.

chilge, I like u. You are one of the few that know their football in here. I even still like Cam, but all this love and never any criticism is getting to me a bit. Especially when these same people cant wait to get in here and disparage the Head Coach over much less.

He took all the credit for the O in 2013 with Mett, Hill Juice and OBJ. Which is fine if hes going to take some of the blame for 2014. And who has he recruited and signed that wasnt coming here anyway?

1.5 mil- we should get alot for that dont u think?

Sometimes its ok to agree to disagree and keep it friendly.

FWIW, I'm just as high on Miles as I am on Cameron, and that includes the 2008 and 2014 seasons.

Bottom line: Cameron was brought in to improve the offense and develop and recruit quarterbacks.

2013 - 453 YPG / 35.8 PPG
2014 - 388 YPG / 27.6 PPG
2015 - 461 YPG / 37.3 PPG

Say what you want about 2014, it was in line with the Crowton/Studrawa days. Just keep in mind Jennings was a true sophomore, Dural was a redshirt sophomore, and Harris, Fournette and Dupre were true freshmen.

Quite frankly, I think that makes the turnaround from 2014-15 even MORE impressive.

He's put up two very impressive offenses, has made Brandon Harris the most efficient QB in the conference in only one year, developed Fournette into the Heisman frontrunner (with Coach Frank), and has secured commitments from elite quarterback prospects in the 2014, 2016, and 2018 classes.

I'd say he's earning that $1.5 million.

bubba, good points. The play call for Gordon was terrible but other than that he called a good game. We even saw a pick play which was nice to finally see. I do see the difference in play this year, we are way better.

But to say he's made a huge difference here is a bit premature to me.

I understand your opinion and it may prove to be correct.

But the head coach's seat was warm going into this year who hired the OC. What was it, hes dragging the program down.
I like your way of thinking and think last year was Miles finest at LSU but others dont see it that way.

Cam makes 3 times what the last OC made who went 13-1 his last year here. The last OC also had the
OL duties( No Grimes salary or his talent available to work with.)

So before all of u bright ones start saying Im now comparing Stud to Cam.....

Cam and Grimes havent won any hardware to go along with those salaries and we now have Steele vs Chavis.

Some will say that is a good business decision others may question the bang for the buck.

I can't think of 1 way that a throw to the TE that goes for 8 yards on first down was even remotely terrible...

I know the defense allowed that last drive, but we can't expect to win games scoring 13 pts.

No effect. Les can still bully teams and fails miserably when he can't. Cameron can't or won't come unhinged enough to get that Miles hardass head. Unless another game stealing D like '11 comes along we are what we are, second fiddle at best
