Tough thing for the family and friends of Parker to walk through. Thanks to Jamie for exhibiting the class and concern he did. And thanks to you for investing spiritually in the lives of young men. Few understand how consuming that actually is.

Very classy move indeed.

On a side note, can the admins remove down votes?

I get the fact that this site prides itself on allowing the lowest of the low of our fans a loud voice, but downvoting a thread like this "should" cross a line.

Absent from the body, present with the Lord...

God job, Keehn!

Pray the down-voters get to witness the reality of Gods power/presence this very day..

That's why I love LSU. We have some great people playing and working for us. Forget the craziness of the coaches, we have some classy people in this organization.

Prayers for the family, nothing in this world is comparable to losing a child. Thanks Jamie and other football players from LSU for helping Parker have some joy as he was trying to recover. God Bless all.

Prayers going up for you and the family. As said before, very classy gesture by JK.

Though I wish it were under better circumstances, thanks for sharing this with the rant.

Rest in Peace Parker.

I clicked on the obituary and the condolences and this kid was special. They said when he was diagnosed he immediately accepted it and put the rest in Gods hands. Keehn saw the awesomeness in this kid too. to both of them. Class acts indeed.

It is great to see young men who display compassion and concern for others. Makes one realize there are still so many good young people in the world.
