re: Would you pay out of state tuition or stay in Louisiana and go to ULM? - deriddertigah
So, in a nutshell, you are weighing short term gratification based on "liking" a town vs. long term debt...... I'm not sure there is a lot to think about in this case....

re: Being tall vs. being short - deriddertigah
I'm 6'-6"... the biggest cons are vehicles, air travel and clothes. That being said, I've never really looked around and said, "damn, I wish I was 5'-10"". ...

re: Parents who have a boy and a girl - deriddertigah
At our house it seemed that I was always harder on my son and my wife was harder on my daughter. Not sure if the kids perceived it as such, but that's what I saw. They are 22 and 20 now and seem to have survived it all, regardless....

re: How many of you do not live in a flood zone but still carry flood insurance? - deriddertigah
I carry it. Preferred Risk coverage of 100,000 on the house and 40,000, (I think), on the contents. Premium is like $325 per year. Well worth it. ...

re: Experience as a Volunteer Coach? - deriddertigah
MY niece
Do not volunteer to "coach" an entire team so you can solely help a family member. I volunteered for 5 years on the high school level at a school where I had zero family ties. Primarily because I love the sport I was coaching. Family is the worst reason to coach in my o...

re: The Robertson Family - deriddertigah
I can't speak for the rest of the state, but I perceive them to be pretty durn smart. They saw the niche they could jump in to and capitalized on it. I have no problem with them at all. ...

re: Looking back at the late 1990's Louisiana High School Basketball Talent: - deriddertigah
any discussion of 1990's basketball teams that doesn't include Zwolle is incomplete. 7 straight state titles, some in 2a and some in B. Unreal talent on those squads. I coached the 1991 All Star game and had Tony Cutright and Carlos Crawford from Zwolle on that squad; along with Paul Marshall, Cl...

re: High points to visit in Maine & New Hampshire? - deriddertigah
Bar Harbor and Acadia National area is one of my favorite places. The weather is incredible and the scenery is like something from a postcard. I also enjoyed Kennebunkport, but not as much as Bar Harbor area. I would move up there if not for, well...winter. ...

Aggie man obsession over Chavis is running wild. Of course they do have male - deriddertigah
cheerleaders, too. Exhibit A is below. "I saw him in person at my kid's football camp. The pictures you see don't do the chief justice. His calves are as big as any of his players' and look like a bodybuilders biceps. His mustache is also more impressive in person. He definitely looks like h...

re: Snap Judgments: The Miles Legacy - deriddertigah
His time has come and gone. I've never liked him as a coach and never will. He never beat Mack Brown while at Oklahoma State (0-4) and he also lost the SEC championship in his first season. That's his legacy to me
Moronic post. Too much moron for me to even attempt to address. ...
