re: Uninsured motorist damaged my car- file a claim or no? - deriddertigah
File on your UM. That's why you paid for it. The UM claim will not increase your premium, unless your record has other issues.
Commonly UM is for bodily injury, unless you are on of the very few that actually carry UMPD, (uninsured motorists property damage). We offer UMPD to folk...

re: Best beer store in Lafayette? Going there tomorrow and would like to stock up - deriddertigah
I doubt you'll be near Arnauldville but I actually prefer going to the Bayou Teche Brewery. The Parish beer is overall better, but the brewery is much cooler and they have places to hang out and usually good live music. Their small batch stuff at the brewery is pretty solid too.
Ag...

re: Best beer store in Lafayette? Going there tomorrow and would like to stock up - deriddertigah
If you're going to be near Broussard, go to Parish and get some beer from the brewery.
Definitely going over there. My favorite 2 beers there are Ghost and Reve. Neither of which is available other than on tap right now. Parish makes some great beers....

re: Would you pay out of state tuition or stay in Louisiana and go to ULM? - deriddertigah
So, in a nutshell, you are weighing short term gratification based on "liking" a town vs. long term debt...... I'm not sure there is a lot to think about in this case....

re: Parents who have a boy and a girl - deriddertigah
At our house it seemed that I was always harder on my son and my wife was harder on my daughter. Not sure if the kids perceived it as such, but that's what I saw. They are 22 and 20 now and seem to have survived it all, regardless....

re: Experience as a Volunteer Coach? - deriddertigah
MY niece
Do not volunteer to "coach" an entire team so you can solely help a family member. I volunteered for 5 years on the high school level at a school where I had zero family ties. Primarily because I love the sport I was coaching. Family is the worst reason to coach in my o...
