Say what you will, but this isn't a case of rampant HGH usage by their lineman/backers/etc. I really think its a careless oversight of something bought OTC. Lesson learned and sucks for the UF program that's online to gain its pride back. I think one monkey doesn't stop the show, but it such a weak reasoned setback for them.

FTR: I still think LSU would've won comfortably.

ETA: sentiments retracted......170 to 215....yea, bullshite

Why does it suck for him? He took something illegal to gain a competitive advantage and got caught.

I saw his tearful apology but I have a hard time believing there's an OTC medication out there that would contain a banned ingredient. If there were, why wouldn't the trainers or coaches point it out to them and tell them not to take it???? I just don't buy it. But I'll stand by and wait for someone to flip me the bird or tell me how stupid I am

He went from like 170 to 215, he must have known that something was giving him an extra "kick."

He claims it was an over the counter drug, but why, when all you had to do was go to the athletic dept and they would have taken care of whatever it was the right way and without any of this nonsense?

I don't

dont be a bitch.

what would you say if it was fournette, beckwith, or clapp? you'd cry outrage.

you'd say but OTC is FDA approved......you'd want to lynch the NCAA.

but its the UF guy, so you think he deserved it......punk move

UF like every other major team has a staff that goes over these things over and over. All the meds and supplements are available for free. But this guy decides to buy a supplement over the counter anyway? Really? Its not like he was sick and lost his head looking for relief. I would be willing to bet he cant name whatever supplement he took.

Every athlete at the college and pro level knows that they are not to take anything unless the training staff gives it a thumbs up. He took a banned supplement that is banned by the NCAA to get a leg up.

These supplements are banned for player safety. None of them are regulated or tested by the FDA. They are little more than big cans of fake weed. Just a bunch of chemicals dumped together with often tragic side affects.
