Student Section...list of things to do when our team is on defense

Because it's frankly been embarrassing to watch MSU and WVU put together extended scoring drives while the crowd is either trying to pull off the wave or crowdsurfing with Mike, here's a list of things to do when our team is on defense, regardless of the time remaining in the game or the current margin of victory.
1. Stand.
2. Pay Attention.
3. Yell.

this, whatever it is, warrents nothing at a sporting event other than "omg dude i started a wave".
Also the lets all bring beach balls and toss them up at a critical moment in the game needs to stop. You all look gay and uninterested in the obvious football game that you're in the stands for.
Oh and all the retarded add ons that were made to cheers post 2006 suck arse. The "woooooo" on the end of second down never happened prior to that. I call it the pussification of the students section.
Oh and dressing up in costumes that are completely unrelated to sports is lame as well.

you dude. The student section has been more legit than any other part of the stadium. We dont need you to tell us what to do. Go tell the band to quit taking away our jams if you want to help. Or at least tell the old farts around you to get loud and quit rubbing their vagines.

I agree the wave sucks, but overall the student section has been muuuchh louder than recent years. That's not an opinion that's a fact. Just saying...

I guess. There's definitely a noticeable improvement in the red zone and third downs... but it's inconsistent. And just my own two cents, as a stadium, we need to get loud BEFORE their QB gets the call. False starts and Delay penalties are great and all, but I'd LOVE to get a receiver to run the wrong route.
