8-9 wins. Will lose to Bama. Ole Miss, Tennessee, Arkansas and A&M are tossups.

I’m not sure how you can say that with the amount of unproven question marks currently exist. Yeah, this could be an awesome team, but it could also be a very average team. Until we get going and see the product on the field it’s just straight arse hope

I know what you’re saying, but I’m not sure that’s a bad thing.

No way to know, but I think it will be much better coached.

Most years you never know what you got until 5 or 6 games into the season. this is one of those years.

With our schedule, will we really know how good we are after 5 games?

If we start 5-0, is it because we are good or our competition wasn't?

If we lose to FSU and/or MSU - maybe they are better than their preseason hype.

Pump the breaks. Our problem is depth. We need more depth and the O line is raw.

Which 5 (Including bowl game) do you see us losing?

Not feeling that confident but FanDuel has 10+ wins at +1600. Go for it.

What about our defense looks nasty outside the DL? We have a CB who was projected as depth from McNeese running on the first team defense.

Wasn't JBC an all big 12 corner and multi year starter for the pokes?

Wasn't 7banks a blue chip CB recruit who played meaningful snaps as a freshman at Ohio State?

Also while i dont think Colby Rochardson will start there is a lot to be excited about there. You realize he bulked up 25lbs of muscle this summer and hasnt lost his speed right?

Hell the average age of our secondary has got to be 22+. A lot of experience there. Half these guys could be in the league rn

Not to mention LB. Mike Jones (Who?), Weeks, program guy like Baskerville, Harold f'n Perkins...

defense could be elite. I share his optimism

Have you paid attention to practice reports lately? The CBs can't even get healthy to see if they were even worth the transfer. You have a graduate student who was purely for deep depth running on 1st team defenses. Good for the guy but I have serious doubts he's an SEC CB even with bulking up. Maybe he's a steal but right now Converse/Banks can't get on the field to see what we got. I sure as hell hope he's a steal or we're in trouble.

I think we'll be okay if we can shore up CB. S in practice have looked pretty good and Burns has passed the veterans up.

Our starting 22 should be able to play with anyone. It’s depth that might be a bit of a concern
