I also think (hope) our d line can mask a lot of weakness in the secondary if they need time to gel. Gotta figure it out before Leach comes to town with a 3rd year starting QB.. thats for sure.

We have at least four tight toss up games… plus Bama. All winnable. Then have to avoid losing a winnable SEC road game because of flat performance

It human nature this time of year. Miss State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Tennessee fans are all telling themselves the same thing. A month ago I was convinced this is a 7-5 team.
Now with the excitement of practice starting and the season a few weeks away, I have to ask myself, why the hell do I suddenly feel this is a 10 win team?
frick it. Lets ride. 11-1. And if we get a few breaks in the Bama game??

If they come together and trust each other I can see 10 wins but 11 or 12 wins I don't know about that.

We are all excited about the season but damn.
Some of you have delusional expectations.
This team will be MUCH BETTER than the last 2 but it still is not a playoff contender.
The ceiling for this team is 9 wins (perhaps 10 if we win the bowl). But if you are really expecting better than that, don’t bash the team or the coach when your unrealistic expectations aren’t met.
The big jump will come in year 2.

Man, even I’m not that much of a positiger. I do agree though that every game outside of bama is winnable though. But they probably won’t win all of those.

I think that we’ll be an 11-12 win team if the O-line is as nasty as the D-line will be.. every other position as far as talent go is above average to elite… and tightends looks nice just not a lot of depth but other than that.. if this team gives it their all I can see a 13-0 natty team if the come out second guessing and listening to the media 9-3…
