Anyone that lives up there or has access to someone up there that can give me breakdown on the tailgating situation with the fair in town and all?

How much are paylots?

How early should we set up Saturday?

Where should we setup?

Open container laws?

Hey no problem. Since it is a late kick off we are planning on doing some tailgating. I am just trying to get some info so we can be prepared. We are driving up friday from Bham and are going to see the saints Sunday in Charlotte Sunday. It is going to be a full football road trip.

I think chicken sausage gumbo may be on the menu along with hours of beer pong!

I wish...

We're bringing a scaled down version of our tailgates at home. 1 tent, jamabalaya for 25-30 (bout 15 of us in our group), speaker, generator, couple of ice chests, and the beer pong table.

Yea, we'll have our burner and pot of jambalaya.

Leaving EARLY friday (4:30am) and staying downtown. Not a clue where we are going to setup. Worst case is just to park in the Fair (huge cluster) and tailgate there.

Any people that are familiar with Coulmbia/Williams-Brice would help!!

We are staying at the Airport Holiday Inn Express in West Columbia. Are you guys driving through Bham/Atlanta on your way? Maybe we can caravan down there.

Jason I will send you my work email.

We'll be coming from BR so we'll hit ATL from I-85. Jason has my work email so just get it from him when he replies back.

I think it's $20 to park in the fairgrounds lot. Fair opens at 9am so I'm guessing the lot will be as well. Not sure on open container.

We are wondering the same thing about open container law and parking. We are taking the trailer so any help on where we could tailgate would be appreciated.
