Conference Records
Ed orgeron is 16-5 across 2 Power 5 conferences in the last 3 seasons he has coached.
Jimbo Fisher is 14-10 with more talent and better recent history
Herman is 17-8 with 2 seasons in the weak aac
Did I want O? No. However the way to judge somebody is by their results.

its 100% serious.I didnt want Jimbo last year but would have taken him over Orgeron. I wanted Herman. However Orgeron has outperformed both. Its also important to note Jimbo's performance because FSU is = to LSU in regards to talent, prestige and has more recent success

Additionally, this is the definition of interpreting stats to make a point. Why not just use their all time record? Their conference championships? Etc.

Interim records mean shite. Hard to give a coach credit when he doesn’t coach lol. Sitting back letting his coordinators run the show while he stands on the sidelines wearing a headset with the mic raised to the top of his head is funny to watch. It’s not orgeron fault he never coordinated an offense or defense so he doesn’t know how to coach anything but the d line. I credit the coordinators who actually coach.

7-1 since the loss to Troy.
This team could have tanked right then and there. They didn't. They got better, with only 1 loss to a possible national champion, and gave them fits.
No moral victories, I understand, but 7-1. If only undefeated seasons with 42-0 blowouts every week is the only metric of success, we're in deep shite from now until the end of time.
But, that's what we basically read or infer from the Rant. :(
O did well to keep this team "up" and fighting.
He's the LSU coach, I'm an LSU fan, supporting the "program!" When he goes 6-6 with talent, I'll become a Nega-Tiger.
This team for all that fight DESERVES the support and admiration, not this bullshite "I'm a realist....settling for mediocrity" narrative.
