Both will have two losses (each lost to Auburn).

LSU beat Ole Miss head-to-head.

Although Ole Miss is #4 (not sure how) and LSU is #19 (not sure how).

Will LSU be able to move up that far without playing/Will Ole Miss drop that far after a close loss?

Cannot wait to see. If they are not higher than Ole Miss then the emphasis on head-to-head is a ruse.

Really doubt a close loss to #3 drops them 15 spots. And it shouldn't really.

LSU got blown out by Auburn

LSU was one completion away from beating msu. there were not two blowouts. LSU has 20 more seconds and they beat msu.

since they say (absurd as it is) that margin of victory will have no bearing what so ever on the rankings, then we should be ranked higher than Ole Miss. We got stomped by Mississippi St and Auburn and they lost close games to LSU (on the road) and a close game to Auburn. Logic would say Ole Miss should be ranked slightly higher than LSU but the by the committees stated criteria (no margin of victory consideration) then LSu should clearly be ranked higher than Ole Miss

Lol you seriously think loss by points matters more than head to head when deciding who is better?

If LSU isn't ranked ahead of Ole Miss there is a serious problem with the selection committee.

The bears will of course be ahead of us. Close loss (score only) to us on the road, and a close loss to AU. We were blown out by AU. We beat Bama, things change very much.

Really? You were that lazy to figure out it was by 7 and not "like 6"?

LSU was blown out by MSU and Mullen, not being familiar with being ahead, had his starters taking off their gear while we scored points in the last 7 minutes.

So logic trumps head-to-head play. Fascinating.
