no, it will only help to make tiger stadium more like the nfl, but since that seems to be the direction were heading anyway then who gives a shite

Great idea, BRILLIANT!!! Put our speedsters on a fast track! Then again it may be hard to keep up with the pace when i'm drunk.

natural grass

LSU has an agricultural center - get those folks in gear on the grass situation, jeez it is that hard to grow grass?

I would be OK with it. There are plenty other "traditions" still in place. If a faster track provides a tangible advantage for us, then why not?

I say yes, I would always prefer real grass. But LSU A&M can't grow grass

our grounds crew is absolutely incompetent - so nothing short of firing them, or switching to field turf, is going to solve it
There's your answer. It seems like it is easier to get coaching staff fired than to replace the grounds crew.

i always said that we should get feild turf. we already practice on it in the cholly mac facility. and it would save shite loads of money by not having to re-sod the feild every two years.

All I know is that walking and running on field turf is way easier on the ankles and knees than grass!

No way.

In fact, leather helmets are tradition too.

Let's bring 'em back.

The turf has been rough the past two years....we have an offense built around speed...why not look into something that allows us to take advantage of a strength? Because we want real grass? I want what makes us win...I also want White pants.....and gold jerseys...but I won't get them so there..lol

I don't want them to...If they do decide to do that, it won't be for a couple of years...especially after the money we spent on the HD screen that will be there next season.

Yes. The field looks terrible. The new turf is great compared to the old fake stuff.

That's true, no comparison. You feel much better the day after you have been on field turf than after being on grass.

There are also no divots to step in and sprain knees or ankles either.

Yes. Tired of looking at green painted dirt half way thru the season. Cant blame the Saints, they havent played here since December of 05, so we cant blame them.
If our AG minded university cant keep a grass field in shape on a consistant basis, then put in the fake stuff. Our climate is brutal on the field. YMMV.
