Should Miles let Fournette try for the NCAA rushing record this weekend?

Say LF is over 200 at halftime...would you let him go for the record?

The single game record is 427 btw

I've already stated I would be happy with 425...

but that was before I knew the record is 427

so I would be ticked if he was 2 yards short

I'd risk it...put him back out there at 63-0

No, the record falls at bama. Buga rushes for 300 and 4 TDs to lead us past the tide.

No. Its likely not going to be remotely necessary. Fournette could get the record in meaningful snaps, and not against a team they're going to rollover.

I wan see him rip 5 runs off for 99 yds after we've instructed the punt return man to kneel it on the 1yd line after their first 5 posessions.

Then, pull him mid way in the 2nd quarter.

we need to let Harris throw 70 times for 600 yards so we can prepare for Bama!!

No. The media already knows the game is a mismatch, and LSU will look bad if it lets Fournette keep playing in a lopsided game just to pad stats. It would most likely turn into a negative.

No. Let him get 100 in the first quarter, then let Willaims and crew wreck it the rest of the way.

He should not touch the ball more than 12 times in this game.

In fact, this game should be over by mid second quarter and if so LF should shower at halftime and watch the second half in street clothes.

Keep the big picture in mind.
