True. So far in this thread, though, it looks to be only one (thankfully).

I don’t know how there’s anyone not excited for this season right now.

I will do a toast to Upperdumber and his misery.

if you think I’m miserable you have no clue. I’m very excited about our team. If O keeps his big fat fingers to himself we can be very good. But shrimp boat captain can’t help himself, he thinks he’s the best coach since Red Beaulieu in The Water-boy, he has to keep meddling to make himself look like a good corch

I can pinpoint all the issues his meddling has caused. Call me hateful but it’s fact

What do the miserable people do? CRY!!!!

I’m not crying, I’m happy we have a coach that forced O to take his hands off the wheel. Joe Brady has more balls than any other coach on the team besides Aranda (the other coach you like to single out and throw shade on, bc he won’t take O’s shite with meddling)

I’m not even searching for shite in the past. You just searched through stats to try to make O look good, I’m just doing it off of memory

I’ll make a bold statement here. If Aranda was the HC of this team and not O, I’d believe we will win a national championship this year. The only thing holding us back year after year is a meddling HC. First it was the man in the hat. Now it’s the coonass in the shrimp boots

Go ahead then

Don't even bring up Canada because every single LSU fan knows that the jet sweeps were getting old and we needed something to change. He did what he needed to do.

Giles might have not had his career ruined for him by being put in the spotlight too soon.

All everyone heard from media, coaches and players is how awesome Giles looked in the transfer seasons he had to sit out. He was first team All Big XII before coming to LSU. Had he produced like expected, he was only going to be at LSU one year. It was his time for the spotlight, and he bombed.

I didn't even realize this dude basically blaming O for Giles being bad

He's just trying to blame him for everything

What a fricking dense idiot

my point is O has a history of taking a good situation and fricking it up. He better let his coaches coach. If he had, we would have had a better offense last season

he got mad when O broke his promise of not meddling

I had some concerns about this going into the season IF the offense didn't come out looking good. But, the offense was absolutely smoking hot so I'm just gonna go with the thought that there's no reason to get in the way and let the chips fall where they may.

Also, this is his 3rd year and 1st with a new AD that has no ties to Coach O. I don't think O is a dummy. I believe he knows he needs to produce this year and that he will indeed let his coaches coach and do their jobs. It's gonna be a fun season. I say just strap up and enjoy the ride.

Scoring ten points isn’t enough to win against Bama. Let’s not pretend Canada was a good OC.

He was objectively terrible. I would have wanted some pressure on O had he NOT “meddled,” and fired Canada after the season.

I provide links to everything I post. If you are not smart enough to figure out how simple it is to make one mouse-click, you should probably keep it to yourself.

So you’re telling me that O made a lot of stupid decisions last year and someone came in and fixed all of them for him? Let’s go through the list, based on your list:
- O put shitty Giles at punt returner when he wasn’t ready, and gave him number 7 when he definitely wasn’t ready for the pressure. That worked out great
- O fired a good OC in Canada for a career TE coach and a retired old man, both who have no concept of how to spread the ball out
- O’s best choice OC running O’s offense misused talent across the board
- O still hasn’t scored on Bama without Canada (edit: I threw in this one just for fun)

This is and will continue to get DVed but no one will prove you wrong because it's all true....like it or not.....CEO....not a coach.....
